The unexpected news left Anthea and Natalia dumbfounded.
An hour ago, Anthea and her team were warmly welcomed by the staff of Hadley Corporation as they
entered the manager's office to finalize the contract. Every clause and provision in the agreement had

to the influential forces working behind the scenes.

artist terminated by them would face the grim fate of being blacklisted from the industry.
In short, Anthea was doomed! — Natalia's heart raced, her anxiousness soaring. “Mr. Taggart, didn't

With that, he turned around and entered the lift.
Meanwhile, Anthea and Natalia caught wind of the whispers circulating among the onlookers.
“Oh my! Oh my! Anthea hasn't been in the spotlight for just a few days, and her face has changed so
much. No wonder | didn't immediately recognize her. She looks much worse in person than on TV. I

Anthea suppressed her anger and got into the company’s minivan.

spacious living room through the phone's receiver.
“T have great news, Christina!” Rayne chuckled before continuing, “Anthea is paying for her actions.
She provoked someone influential and is being blacklisted. All the brand partners are busy terminating
contracts with her to steer clear. Once she terminates her contract with our studio, she'll have to pay a
hefty penalty fee.”
Christina let out a half-hearted “Ah,” her mind sluggish for a moment before realizing who Rayne was
referring to. She was on the verge of falling asleep.
“Anthea Campbell, right?” She yawned, her lack of surprise evident. “Oh, then let's quickly arrange the
termination procedures. It's better to avoid unnecessary complications.”
Rayne's enthusiasm dwindled. “Christina, tell me honestly, are you the influential person Anthea
provoked?”
Christina tilted her head, glanced at the clock on the wall, and sank further into the soft sofa. Her eyes
were teary and hazy.
“Tt wasn't me. I don't have the ability to blacklist an artist with a strong background.”
“If it's not you, then it must be your significant other. 1 should have realized this earlier. Anthea's
downfall came after the official statement from Hadley Corporation. Thank god you and I are friends,

Christina's eyelids were too heavy to keep up. Clutching her phone, she quickly drifted into a deep
slumber.

pressuring her into terminating her contract willingly.
Of course, Anthea refused to do so. She showed her tantrums in front of many high-level executives,

Anthea sneered and released her grip on Elizabeth's collar.
Next, she raised her hand and delivered a resounding slap to the latter's cheek.
