“Do you want to go horse riding?” Zachary asked while behind the wheel.

Determined to have a date with his wife, he did not allow his chauffeur to come along. He did thedriving instead.

The security convoy kept a good distance from the couple.

“I don’t know how to ride.”

Serenity was honest.

Zachary smiled. “I can teach you. It’s the perfect weather to ride since it’s neither warm nor cold. I’lltake you to the family’s stable.”

“Your family has a horse stable too, huh?”

“My family is your family. Don’t be a stranger to me. We have a lot of horses in the stable. A lot ofpeople who love riding would frequent our stable.

The equestrian facility had brought in quite the revenue.

Those who had done equestrian were loaded.

“Dylan is responsible for the operation. He lives and breathes horses. He’s doing good in theequestrian business. We can expect a sizable profit every quarter.”

Serenity remembered Dylan as a smiling little sunshine. The boy was tan, probably from racing alongthe wind on a horse.

“Now that you’ve mentioned it, I really want to check out the stable. You can’t laugh at me if I can’t getthe hang of riding horses.”

“I’ll teach you. Just take your time.”

“Okay.”

Serenity let out another yawn before closing her eyes and saying, “I’ll catch up on some sleep. Wakeme when we get there, babe.”

“Have some rest.”

With Zachary hitting the brakes, Serenity thought something had happened. She opened her eyes andsat up to look out the window. Seeing that nothing was going on, she turned to Zachary, confused whyhe pulled up at the side of the road.

“Seren, have you been feeling tired recently and can barely keep your eyes open? Do you feel likesleeping even though you just got up?”

Serenity gave it some thought before answering, “I don’t feel tired. I just feel sleepy. It’s the change ofweather. It’s normal to feel this way. That’s what I usually feel in the past. What’s wrong? You looksolemn. Do you think I’m sick? Something terminal?”

Zachary tapped his finger on her head.

“Nonsense. I just thought you have the same symptoms of being pregnant.”

Serenity replied, “So you think I’m pregnant?”

Zachary did not hide how he felt. “I secretly asked my mom what women are like when they first getpregnant. At least then I’ll know whether you are when you start showing the symptoms.”

Serenity opened her mouth to say something, but no words left her lips.
