Chapter 56: I Won
Glen's POV
"Then Tobios is at a disadvantage here since Sir is really good in bare hand and no weapons involved"
I access while looking at them who are both in a very close combat making us all gasp when I saw that
they are really fighting intensely.
"I think that Tobios is matching Sir pretty good" I hear one of my classmates in front of me.
I look at them and hear what they are both chatting about since I got curious what will be their
judgement about their fight.
"Yeah, he could really block Sir's attacks and he could even attack him thought—" I hear the other one
kind of hesitate while shaking his head making me get a little bit close to them so that I could hear it
properly.
"Why something wrong?" I hear the other guy said in question while looking at the other.
"I think that Tobios is getting beaten thought since you could see that he is getting sloppy and he can
just barely attack Sir" I hear him say and then suddenly I hear someone clearing their throat making me
slowly look at them and they were looking at me in question.
(Shit they caught me eavesdropping) I thought while suddenly getting embarrassed and I just turn away
like I was kind of looking something on the ground.
"Uhm... did you see any pencil here?" I asked them and they just look a bit not satisfied but they just
shake their head.
"No, we haven't" they said in unison before they turn around and then I sigh in relief.
"That was close" I mumble to myself as I move backwards and then scratch the back of my head in
nervousness.
I then turn to look at the two fighting and I could say that they were really right.
(Tobios is kind of getting beaten up and he is pretty much barely even standing with those powerful
attacks of Sir Michael who kinds of look that he is the one having fun here) I frown since I saw him
smiling while throwing punches at him.
"Aren't he going to stop them?" I mumble while I looked at Sir Tanner and he was just watching them in
comfort.
"Can't he see that he is being beaten up" I suddenly heard some of the girls say making me glance at
them and saw that they are looking at Sir Tanner and probably they have the same thought as I am.
"Let's go talk to him" I hear them say and they stand and went near Sir Tanner.
"So, what will be the response of Sir Tanner?" I mumble while looking at the girls who went to talk to
him but to my surprise.
I saw them walking away with a defeated look as they went to sit back to us making me sigh.
"He won't even talk to us and hear our explanation and just make us walk away" I hear them complain
while going back to their friends seeking for comfort.
Then we all suddenly heard a loud thud followed by groaning so I immediately look at them and saw
that Tobios was on the floor groaning in pain while clutching his stomach.
"Damn I never thought that he is that strong that he can defeat an elemental" I hear one say and thennovelbin
the other started to chat that Tobios was defeated in a combat.
"Maybe Sir Michael did something?" I hear the others complain and pretty much they are the
supporters of Tobios.
(So bias...) I thought since they started to talk than maybe Sir Michael is cheating or what but I think
that Tobios is just really not fit to fight in a combat without any weapon.
Then others went to help Tobios get up but he sways them away and then he glares at Sir Michael and
starts to stand up but Sir Michael raised his hand.
"You better sit down and rest first" he said and even though the choice of his words is good but with
that expression it makes you want more to punch his face even more.
"No, I can still stand" I hear Tobios persistently replied while standing up though he really looks like he
is already reaching his limits since he was already trembling.
He suffered too much from Sir's attacks and you could see that he is just trying to look cool or maybe
clinging to his pride.
(What do you get when you are trying to pretend anyway? If you reached your limit then I think that it is
okay to just retreat and accept defeat) I thought while looking at him who is still trying to punch Sir
Michael but Sir easily dodge it and then give Tobios a punch on the face making him suddenly fall back
on the floor again and then he tried to stand up again making me sigh.
"I can't stand this anymore" I mumble while I was standing up and I went to the platform and then I
could feel that everybody's gaze is on me.
"I think that you better stop now, you're already at your limit" I whisper to Tobios when I neared him who
is still on the floor glaring at Sir.
He looked at me and tried to sway me away but I grip his shoulders and he kind of flinch.
"See, I am telling you to better rest first. Why do you want to fight anyway when clearly you can't fight,
want to impress them?" I said to him and he immediately looked at me in shock before I give him a
serious look.
"If you already can't fight then it is okay to accept defeat and go beat him again when you regained
your strength back. You can't always win in the first try... but at least you know what to do on the
second try" I said to him while offering a hand to him.
"... pretty much everyone fails in the first try" I say to him and he looks taken aback by my words but
still he took my hand and then he just nod at me.
I then smile and help him went back down the platform and immediately Andre came to us and then I
give him Tobios.
"Damn he really beat the shit out of you man" Andre said while I pass Tobios to his aid and I saw
Tobios glare at him and weakly nudge Andre's waist and he groans in pain.
"Want me to beat the shit out of you then" he threatened Andre and Andre chuckle nervously while
helping Tobios sit down on the floor.
I then look at Sir Michael and he was looking at me in amusement making me frown at him.
(You beat him too much) I thought while I roll my eyes at him.
Then suddenly someone went near us and it was one of those fans of Tobios and I then nod my head
since I have finished my job and then I slowly step back and let them treat him.
Then I turn around and I slowly went up to the platform and then I saw Sir Michael looking at me in
amusement.
"Well I never thought that you would intervene" he said and I just smile at him.
"Well I never thought that you would also beat your student" I backfired and he shrug his shoulders.
"Well I hear that he was good so I wanted to test his skill... turns out" he said then shakes his head
before looking at me.
(It was really obvious that he wanted to beat him) I thought while I then rolled my eyes at him in
irritation.
"You just want to show off. You can just tell him to give up" I mumble and he just gave me a grin.
He then looked at me in a challenging way making me smirk at him.
"I guess that you want to settle scores with me" he said and suddenly my fist twitched and I want to
really punch this guy.
"Sure, but be sure that you would treat me later if I would land punches on you" I mouthed to him and
he nods his head making me smile.
"But if you lose I will—" he then looks at my chest and I immediately glare at him.
"You really are a pervert" I mouthed in anger trying to emphasize every word.
"You.will.lose" I mouthed seriously and he just shrug his shoulders before we slowly went on our
stance.
"Wait... is he going to fight him?"
"Who's that?"
"Quiet somebody's going to challenge Sir"
I could her the other students chatting with each other but I ignored them and focus all my attention at
Sir Michael.
(Forget about them since I came up here to settle score with him and my hands are itching to punch
him and I will really land a punch that hurts) I thought while I immediately attacked him.
And he was suddenly surprised since I was too fast to close the distance and I was already near him
but he immediately dodges it and then tried to punch me but I bent down and dodge it before I give him
a punch on his stomach making him groan.
(Nice I got him. Nice time your fucking face) I cheered in my head while I retreat back and made a safe
distance away from him.
"Well you got better" he said and then I smirked at him.
(If you think that I was still that wimpy kid back then you are underestimating me) I thought while still on
guard since even though I throw a punch at him still that is not enough.
He then suddenly charges at me and I tried to escape and then I was about to dodge to the left when
suddenly I was meet with a fist so I immediately use both my arms to shield my face.
"Fuck it hurts" I whisper in pain while looking at him since I was pushed back a few meters back.
"Still weak" he told me and that irritated me.
"Don't underestimate me" I spat back and then I attacked him and then give him a good punch on his
face but he blocked it with his arm and I didn't waste any second and then give him a kick but he also
manage to block my attack and then he was about to punch me but I immediately bent down and then
he was startled when I went so close to him and then he was going to grab me but I doge it and step
back before I got a good look of his exposed head.
I didn't waste any second and they I give him and hard right kick on his face and I smiled when it hit his
face.
"Gotcha" I mumble while I look at him get pushed a little bit to the side.
"Damn that feels nice" I thought before I immediately run away from the platform in fear that he would
attack me again.
"I WON" I shouted and then I was about to leave the platform when I heard him chuckle and I turn back
to look at him and saw him looking at me in amusement making me feel a bit creeped out.
"COME BACK HERE AND I WANT A REMATCH" he shouted and I think that most people in the room
are a bit lost as I run around the room and Sir Michael was chasing me.
"HEY YOU ALREADY LOSE" I shouted at him since he was chasing after me.
(He can't take that I manage to land a good hit on his face) I said in annoyance thought I was really
running for my fear since I bet that he would beat me when he will catch me.
"Stop that already" I hear Sir Tanner said and then punch Sir Michael on the face and he was thrown to
the other side and hit the wall making me look at Sir Tanner in horror.
"You loser" he then mumbles though I heard it clear as bright blue sky outside.
I then look away avoiding his gaze since he looked terrifying as heck.
Then I look at my fellow classmates and they were all looking at me in wide eyes and shock. They all
looked at me in disbelief and I was scratching the back of my head in embarrassment.
"Shit" I mumble.
