Chapter 597 He Hadn’t Touched Her in a Long Time
When Kylie first met Mildred yesterday, she could tell that Mildred wasn’t in the right mind. Thus, she
wanted to get acquainted with Mildred as soon as possible.
About an hour later, Clarissa returned home. She opened the door and entered happily.
“I’m home,” Clarissa said cheerfully. She was surprised to see Damien still sitting there and never left.
Clarissa then asked, “Why are you still here?”
“Come with me.” After that, Damien went into Clarissa’s bedroom.
Clarissa went to her room to put her bag down and take off her clothes. “What’s the matter? Is
something wrong with my mom?”
Damien approached her step by step and asked testily, “Were the crabs last night good?”
Clarissa didn’t understand what he meant at first. She was quite puzzled, and wondered, ‘Why is he
suddenly asking about crabs?’
Soon after, it occurred to her that crabs were unsuitable for people who had a miscarriage. It wasn’t a
good idea to eat them. Besides, if she had the operation at Bethany’s hospital, Bethany would’ve told
her about it.
It was her fault for not noticing the leftover crabs in the refrigerator!
Clarissa was a little upset to be exposed by Damien so quickly. Damien caught her before she could
spin another lie.
Clarissa suddenly paled and sputtered, “Oh, I forgot. Bethany did warn me…”
Damien propped up his arms around Clarissa and carefully looked into her eyes. He saw the panic on
her face, but noticed the calmness in her eyes. It seemed the miscarriage was fake. She only did that
to get the story about his fake marriage.
“Really? Did you forget? You’re quite forgetful!” After saying that, Damien leaned down to pick Clarissa
up from the floor and threw her to the bed.
Clarissa panicked and screamed, “Ah!”
Unfortunately, her scream did not attract enough attention.
Kylie heard it outside, but she thought the couple was having some fun so she ignored it. In the past,
Kylie almost became Clarissa’s mother-in-law. She felt a little comfortable listening to her flirting with
another man, but it was inevitable. She knew this would happen sooner or later. She couldn’t avoid it.
“W-What do you want?” Clarissa knew that once Damien got his way, she would lose her power to
speak in front of him. He would no longer take her threats seriously, and he would tease her in return.
Moreover, he would be more proud of himself for doing so.
“Ky...” Clarissa wanted to call out to Kylie, but Damien put his hand over her mouth and silenced her.
“Shut up, Clarissa.” Damien covered her mouth and snarled, “Lying is a bad habit! Your nose will grow.”
Damien threatened her with the same thing whenever he called her a liar.
Damien wondered why she was stammering and was so slow. She even made Chanel pass the
message to make him angry and misunderstand her. She had done everything so well that she hadnovelbin
almost fooled him.
After threatening her, Damien ripped Clarissa’s clothes. He had not touched her in a long time.
Clarissa was weak. She struggled a little before he successfully pinned her down and had his way with
her.
Clarissa rejected him in her heart and couldn’t get in the mood. She refused to cooperate.
“The doctor said no intercourse for a month!” Clarissa said stiffly. She was still stubborn and wanted to
keep up with the lie.
Damien stared at her face with a flirtatious look and chuckled. “Is that so? I’d do it anyway!”
While he was busy with her, someone knocked on the door. Damien clenched his teeth, but he didn’t
stop.
“Clarissa, now that you’re back, shall I leave?” Kylie asked from outside.
Clarissa told Kylie she needed someone to watch over Mildred. She didn’t ask Kylie to cook for Mildred,
and only wanted Kylie to talk to her mother.
Clarissa forced out her words with great difficulty. “Okay.”
Her response sounded a little seductive.
Kylie felt that her presence here was unnecessary, and left.
