“But you’re already married to someone else. I don’t want people to say that I’m using your child to get
you to marry me. I’m a teacher now, so my reputation is very important.” Clarissa’s eyes were wet as
she looked up at Damien. She looked very pitiful.
“You have to keep it, no matter what!” Damien growled into Clarissa’s ear, gnashing his teeth in

Damien couldn’t resist lowering his head and dropping a kiss on her cheek.
When he felt that it wasn’t enough, he proceeded to kiss her lips.

In the living room, Frank kept watching Mildred eat. She ate slowly, as if everything in life was peaceful.

“Are you really Iris Benson?” Frank asked.
“Mildred.”

He brought out an old photo of the actress Iris from his pocket. She had on a charming smile as she
faced the camera; a look perfectly suited to steal men’s hearts. On her ear was a tiny mole. The person
before him also had a tiny mole.
However, this woman was completely different from the woman he had slept with before.
He had barged into Clarissa’s home today to test whether Damien had told him the truth. That, and he
