Chapter 504 Stripped Off His Clothes

The thing that she couldn’t do alone in the past, she was now able to achieve easily with the help of

this child.

To make Logan sick, Chanel had stripped off all of Logan’s clothes in the middle of the night. She had

even taken all the blankets and sheets out of the room. Then, she locked the door. Even if Logan

bawled, she refused to give him his clothes. When she thought about it, the child wasn’t even hers. He

was the son of a murderer. She wasn’t relying on him to take care of her when she got older, so she

might as well make good use of him now.

This time, although Chanel said that Logan had sneakily called Damien, she had been the one to teach

him to do it.

Chanel had been interacting more with Damien through this child. Now, she and Damien had become

much closer.

Damien went to Chanel’s home.

The moment Logan saw him, Logan hugged his legs tightly and kept calling him, “Daddy.”

“I’m not your daddy, understand?” Damien was disgusted by how the boy insisted on calling him that.

Logan glanced at Chanel, confused.

Chanel said, “Be a good boy. Uncle Damien really isn’t your daddy.”

“I’m going to get the groceries. Do you want to come along?” Chanel asked.

Logan kept pulling Damien’s hand. “Let’s go together, Uncle Damien. Let’s go!”

“I might not have dinner here. Let’s go downstairs and play. Kids shouldn’t be cooped up here for too

long,” Damien said.

Although Chanel felt disappointed, she still said, “Alright, let’s go to the garden downstairs.”

The three of them went to the garden together.

Those who didn’t know would have assumed that they were a family of three.

Logan pulled Damien’s hand, asking him to pick some flowers for Chanel.

But as it was winter, there weren’t many flowers in the garden. Damien could only pick up a pretty leafnovelbin

and put it in Chanel’s hair.

“Are you trying to make me look ugly by putting a leaf in my hair?” Chanel joked, looking every bit like a

loving mother.

“You look pretty, Mommy.”

However, Chanel didn’t seem to believe him. She wanted Damien’s validation and turned to him to ask,

“Does it look nice?”

“It’s okay.”

“Mr. Lawrence, what are you doing here?” Damien suddenly heard Caleb’s voice from beside him.

Damien raised his head, only to find Caleb chatting with Connie. Caleb had a basketball in his grasp.

Caleb was heading to the gym when he bumped into Connie, after which they started to chat. Actually,

Connie suddenly burst into tears, wailing about not knowing what to do now since no one was hiring

her for any roles.

“Come over here,” Damien called, his brows drawing together slightly.

Connie was certain Damien wanted to tell Caleb in private that he shouldn’t be with Connie. With that in

mind, she decided to make life difficult for Damien. Connie took out her phone in secret, ready to take

photos of Damien with Chanel to send to Clarissa.

“Did Clarissa tell you?” Damien asked Caleb.

“Tell me what?”

“To not get so close with Connie?”

“No. I only have her class tomorrow. She has never contacted me in private,” Caleb said.

“Connie isn’t a good person. Don’t talk to her too much.”

“But why? Isn’t she Clarissa’s cousin?”

Suddenly, Logan ran over to hug Damien’s leg. Distracted, Damien went back to Chanel’s side while

Caleb returned to Connie.

“What did he say to you?” Connie asked.

“It’s nothing. He was telling me something about my mother. Anyway, Connie, I have other plans. I’m

going to play basketball first.”

“Okay.” Connie was very disappointed.

After Caleb left, Connie didn’t go away immediately. She found a place to hide, and spid on Damien

and Chanel. She wanted to look for the right angle and take a photo of them acting intimate to send to

Clarissa.

“I still have some things to do today. I should go now.” Damien raised his wrist to check his watch.

Still holding onto Logan, Chanel looked at Damien’s watch. “What time is it?”

“It’s past four. I have some tasks to finish, and I need to return to my grandfather’s. By the way, I’ve

already transferred the money to your account. Have you received it?” Damien asked.

“Yes, I have. Thank you so much, Damien.”

From Connie’s vantage point, the two of them looked as though they were kissing. She quickly took a

few photographs, making sure that they were in high definition. Then, she kept taking photos of them

with the kid.

They really did seem like a happy family of three.

Connie sent all of these photos to Clarissa’s old phone through Whatsapp.
