Love In Twilight By Tiny Mountains Chapter 450

Chapter 450 He Was Vicious

Clarissa saw Damien walk out of the restaurant and get into his car.

It was parked not too far away from her, so she walked over and stood by the driver’s side. She asked,

“How did it go?” The call was still connected. She covered the phone with her hand and spoke to him

rather nonchalantly. “How did it go?” Damien squeezed these words out through gritted teeth. The way

she had excused herself halfway through the meal was exactly like a good matchmaker giving the

couple some room. And now, she was even asking him how it went? “Yeah.” Clarissa nodded. “I have

cars, houses, and money. She has talent, skills, and knowledge. We‘re a perfect match,” he said.

“That‘s not what I meant.” She scrunched her face up, feeling wronged. “Why do you have to be so

sarcastic? She‘s in love with her husband now, not you. She only wanted to meet up with you to catch

up. Anyway, don‘t you think it‘s disgusting for someone in their thirties, almost forty, to be talking about

love and romance? Why would that even occur to me?”

Damien gave her a death glare. He let out an exasperated laugh.

Someone in their thirties, almost forty?

“Are you saying that only you youngsters in your twenties are allowed to think about dating? Do the

elderly not deserve to find love?” Damien‘s words were dripping with sarcasm.

Clarissa fell silent.

It was obvious Damien was referring to Caleb pursuing her like mad. The whole university knew about

it, and he was picking on her for this.novelbin

But Clarissa had no plans to date someone younger than her. In fact, she thought it would be nice to

remain single for the rest of her life.

She lowered her head, silent.

Underneath the moonlight, Clarissa‘s face was practically gleaming. This reminded Damien of Caleb‘s

painting, the one named “Clarissa“. It made his blood boil even more.

While she was in a daze, Damien suddenly reached out through the car window and wrapped an arm

around her neck. Then, he pulled her down and pressed his lips on hers in a searing kiss.

Clarissa instantly felt like she was on fire. Every pore on her body opened up, and her heart raced.

Every time he kissed her, it felt unbelievably amazing. It had been a while since she had last felt this

way. When the kiss was over, Damien watched her.

“No offense, but the next time you want to introduce someone to me, ask me for my opinion

first.”

“I wasn‘t thinking of introducing anyone to you,” Clarissa said innocently. They were classmates,

weren’t they? And Chanel had long since moved on from Damien, Why was he throwing such a fit? He

pulled out a cigarette. “Do you know how I know Caleb?” She shook her head

“He‘s Mrs. Faber‘s son.” After that, he scrutinized the change in her expression.

He himself had an expression of amusement and vengefulness. “Mrs. Faber?!” It was only then that

Clarissa recalled Mrs. Faber mentioning her son had gotten into the University of Florin‘s faculty of

finance. She had long forgotten about this. Even if she did remember, how could she have known that

things would be so coincidental?

She was stunned.

No wonder Damien hadn‘t had any reaction to her and Caleb. He knew Mrs. Faber would be the first

person to object to this. There was no way she would allow her employer‘s ex–wife to. have anything to

do with her son. It seemed Clarissa didn‘t need to tell Caleb about her past. Mrs. Faber would make

sure he was aware of every single detail. Damien was truly ruthless. He knew very well how things

were going to play out, but instead of putting a stop to it, he allowed things to snowball, even saying

things like “destiny“,” fate“, and “a match made in heaven“. So this was what he was up to!

He was vicious!
