Love In Twilight By Tiny Mountains Chapter 422

Chapter 422 A Complaint Clarissa sat in her house, filled with anger. She sent a message to Mr.

Dwight immediately. Clarissa: (Mr. Dwight, I’d like to file a complaint against a student named Calebnovelbin

Mckenny from the finance department who just attempted sexual advances on me. His actions have

raised a scandal among the teacher and students. Please look into it. Thank you.)

Mr. Dwight: (I will address the matter first thing in the morning, Miss Johnson.]

The moment she put down her phone, Clarissa received another message from Chanel.

Chanel: (Hey, I heard about what happened between you and Caleb. Almost everyone in school is

aware of his confession to you! You should be proud! Clarissa, you’ve managed to tie down the most

desired bachelor in the entire university!)

Clarissa : (I’m not proud about this. Plus, I’ve already reported him to the disciplinary section.)

Chanel: (What? Why would you do that? What’s so wrong about a confession?!) Clarissa could care

less about how Caleb would feel in this situation. She trusted Mr. Dwight would look into the matter for

her.

Somehow, Clarissa knew she still had something pending to complete, but she couldn’t remember what

it was exactly. She was all riled up that she had already forgotten all about her to-do list after what

happened with Caleb.

Meanwhile, Neil and Ray returned home from the park with their heads dipped low in disappointment.

Damien did tell Neil he wouldn’t attend the meeting.

Left with no choice, Neil left with Ray to the park just now.

To his great disappointment, Clarissa didn’t attend the meeting.

When they opened the door, Damien looked at their dejected expressions and greeted them,”

You’re back.”

“We didn’t see the pretty lady today,” Neil said, hugging his father sadly.

“I know.”

Damien knew she wouldn’t attend the meeting. Plus, she didn’t even have the courtesy of informing

Neil about her decision! Thinking about this, Damien gritted his teeth in anger. Deep down, he knew

that she was afraid of meeting him. She didn’t care about how he was doing at all.

The fact she didn’t even bother to attend the meeting at Eden Investment said a lot about what she was

thinking.

The next day, he would have to head to Eden Investment again to discuss details about their contract.

If both companies were to form a long-term partnership, Damien would have to pay

attention to the details of the contract before signing it.

Clarissa wouldn’t have to attend the meeting because the matter only involved the important

shareholders.

Since he was attending a formal event, it would be better to leave Neil in Caleb’s care for now.

The next day, at the disciplinary department.

“How dare you stir trouble for Miss Johnson just because she’s new here! Now, the entire school is

aware of what happened yesterday! Are you trying to ruin your own future? I’ve looked through your

resume. You’re a bright student with a bright future. If Miss Johnson decides to press on the matter,

you’ll have a record of misconduct!” Standing straight, Caleb was unfazed.

“Since you didn’t commit a grave crime, I’ll let you off today as a warning. If you approach Miss

Johnson again, I’ll have no choice but to hand you over to the authorities.” Mr. Dwight knew Caleb was

a bright student who excelled in both extracurricular activities and academics. Not only was he the

captain of the school’s basketball team, but he was also talented in drawing and had earned medals in

numerous competitions.

Throughout his four years in university, Caleb had always maintained a good reputation for himself. It

was obvious that Clarissa’s arrival had stirred something in him.

He was just a young man blinded with love. “So, aren’t you going to apologize?” Mr. Dwight said. “I’m

sorry. I’ll never do it again!” Caleb said with a serious expression. “If Miss Johnson complains about

you again, I’ll have no choice but to report you to the authorities. Another thing: get rid of the painting in

the cabinet display.” “Why?” Caleb retorted. “Did you put it up there under the university’s permission?”

Caleb didn’t know what to say.

“Get rid of it now.”

Walking out from the office, Caleb went to the cafeteria. Coincidentally, he bumped into Clarissa on the

way.
