Chapter 402 He Hated Her

Time passed in the blink of an eye.

Soon, baby Neil had already begun speaking and walking.

With the exception of Mrs. Faber, Damien replaced all of the staff at his mansion. Nobody mentioned a

word of Clarissa any more.

Mrs. Faber was then designated as Neil’s main caretaker.

The second year Clarissa left, Landon and Lily got married.

Clarissa never left Lily any notes regarding her disappearance when she left, leaving Lily disappointed

in her.

The wedding was crowded with people, though most of them attended to see Damien. Throughout the

entire wedding, Damien kept his face straight. There was never a change in his expression.

Upon looking at the newlyweds on stage, he suddenly remembered that he never had a proper

wedding with Clarissa.

Now that they were divorced, there was no need to make one.

It was Danien’s first time meeting such a cruel and cold-blooded person like her.

It was fine if she abandoned him, but to do the same for her child…

It seemed her academics were her top priority.

He had always wanted to forget her but she remained like a stone wedged deep in his heart,

untouchable.

Not to mention, their child looked exactly like her.

Landon was fully aware that the guests at his wedding didn’t come for him, but for Damien instead.

He didn’t hate Damien for this, however, as Damien had helped him when he was at his lowest.

Though Landon once harbored feelings for Clarissa, he would never steal her away from Damien.

That aside, Lily turned out to be quite a good fit for him.

Having come to that conclusion, Landon made the decision to marry her.

Not long after the marriage, the couple had a baby boy.

Damien was the one who named him: Eric Davis.

Damien also became Eric’s godfather.

Every time Damien paid Landon’s family a visit, they would always ask him about Clarissa.
