Chapter 40 President Lawrence Will Fall For It Clarissa was very happy and excited after finalizing this
matter.

“Why did you argue with him? You saw how his random act of liking your post changed our situation so
drastically. Everyone just wants to suck up to this man, but you do the exact opposite!” Lily said
disapprovingly
“Don’t mention it. I’ve been buttering up to him…” Until now, Clarissa did not know why Damien
suddenly asked her to move out.
How would she know how to please Damien if she did not know what angered him?
“Just beg him and act coquettish, President Lawrence will definitely fall for it!” Lily said again.
“How do you know? Have you acted coquettishly in front of him before?” Clarissa said with a sour tone.

“She’s not coming in person. She asked her brother-in-law to come. I heard that he’s also very
handsome,” Lily said with a look of fascination.
“Haven’t you met him before?”
Lily rolled her eyes at Clarissa. “No. He didn’t attend my sister’s wedding back then because he was
out of town.”
“I’ll check him out for you in the afternoon!”
At six o’clock in the evening, the doorbell rang, and Clarissa went to open the door.
As soon as she opened the door, she opened her eyes wide and said in surprise, “Landon?”
“Clarissa?”
“Who are you looking for? Me?”
Landon raised the lunch box in his hand. “I’m helping my sister-in-law to deliver food to her sister I
didn’t expect you to be her roommate! What a coincidence!”
When Lily came out and saw Landon’s handsome face, her eyes lit up.
“Why don’t I treat you two beautiful ladies to dinner tonight?” Landon said.
“What about the meal that Lily’s sister gave us?” Clarissa said with a slight frown.
Lily was moved by that suggestion. After all, who wouldn’t want to eat with a handsome guy?
“You can put the food in the refrigerator and eat it slowly. It won’t go bad. Let’s go. I’ll treat you to a
barbecue!” Landon was very enthusiastic about dinner.
Clarissa and Lily were bullied at the office during this period and needed this opportunity to de -stress.

bound to be a leader in the future,” Clarissa said, not forgetting to praise Lily.
Clarissa could see that Lily liked Landon.

“Oh, right. Clarissa is going to the suburbs to inspect a computer factory on Sunday. We’ve never been
there, and we’re afraid that we’ll meet a scammer, so we’re looking for a man to accompany us. Come
with us if you’re free.” Lily invited Landon. “My elder sister told me that her brother-in-law runs a gaming
company, so it’s more suitable for you to identify computer specs.”
“Visit a computer factory? No problem. I’ll drive you two there when the time comes. If you want to buy
a computer, it’s good enough to go to a computer store. Why go directly to the
supplier?”
“I’m looking to buy 200 units to donate to the children in the mountains. It’s the school that we went tonovelbin

together that day. “200 units? Alright, you’re quite rich, huh?”
“Nah, I sold my father’s house back in my hometown.” Clarissa brushed it off with an excuse for fear
that Landon would ask about the origin of her money. That would just put her in an awloward situation.
