Love In Twilight By Tiny Mountains Chapter 366

Chapter 366 We’re Already Divorced Saturday, Odyssey Hotel.

Early in the morning, the vice president of the hotel reminded all the staff that the Lawrence family had

booked the hotel for the day to celebrate Neil’s birth. He instructed the staff to do their best.novelbin

The floors were polished till one could see one’s reflection on them, and the whole hotel was cleaner

than it had ever been.

At around eleven in the morning, guests started showing up at the hotel.

Damien’s parents weren’t attending. After all, Patrick stood out too much, and it was better for him to

not be in the spotlight Vanessa would stay at home with him.

Afterwards, Mrs. Faber brought Neil to the hotel.

The guests in attendance were some of the most important and renowned in Genovia.

Joseph was here as well. Damien had invited him.

Lily felt a little uncomfortable to be included among these guests, but at the very least, Landon was with

her.

“I don’t even know why President Lawrence’s having this celebration when Clarissa’s not here,” she

complained, sounding displeased

“Just wait and see,” Landon said,

Lily sat down at a corner and watched the guests mingling around. She wasn’t in the mood at all

“Oh, right. Didn’t Manor of the Marquis call off the placement of the game that you were going to work

on with Rhythmic Technology? Clarissa and I went to the banquet thrown by Penelope’s family to see if

we could find you other options, but everyone there was so infuriating! I didn’t have a good impression

of them, so that’s the end of your collaboration with them. You should avoid working with them in the

future so that you don’t get implicated in anything What goes around comes around. They’ll eventually

get what they deserve for all the bad things they’re doing “She sounded a little guilty,

Her head was lowered as she stared at her juice.

Landon couldn’t help laughing when he heard her explanation

He had always known that she was the carefree type, but he hadn’t expected her to be so naive

“You wanted to help me out? You don’t know anything about it, though.” Landon was surprised

“I wanted to do whatever I could to help because you seemed to be feeling down.” Lily’s voice was low

This warmed Landon’s heart. He was thankful that someone had noticed his feelings and had tried so

hard to help him.

He was also very grateful to Lily for doing all of this for him.

“I don’t want you to do this anymore,” Landon said, taking hold of Lily’s hand. Lily’s eyes widened in

surprise. His sudden show of affection was a pleasant surprise to her, and it caught her off guard.

“Okay.” She smiled

Damien was dressed in a gray suit, looking as elegant as ever. He was toasting the guests, and it was

impossible to tell from his appearance that his wife had just run away.

Mrs. Faber sat at the same table as him, with Neil cradled in her arms.

“The little prince looks exactly like President Lawrence, doesn’t he? He has a high forehead and

cheekbones, and it’s obvious that he’s destined for good things. Have you already planned out what

the little prince is going to do in the future, President Lawrence?” one of the guests said

sycophantically,

“He’s the one who’s going to decide on his future, not me,” Damien said.

“Right, where’s Mrs. Lawrence?” someone else asked.

Damien’s hand paused in mid air. “Clarissa?”

Then, he smiled. “We’re already divorced and living our separate lives. I don’t see any reason for her to

be here.”

Though everyone was a little confused by his words, his status stopped them from making any

comments

Lily was the only one who was infuriated by his callousness. She clenched her fists, seething

When Landon heard Damien’s words, he lowered his head and muttered, “How can he be like

that?”

Lily wanted to send Clarissa a WhatsApp message, but she couldn’t find the right words. In the end,

she didn’t say anything.

She knew she would just be making Clarissa sad by sending her a message

But even if Lily didn’t say anything, Clarissa still found out about this.

After all, there were so many guests in attendance. Many of them had posted about the banquet on

Instagram.

Clarissa used to work at New East Corporation, so she was still following many of her ex colleagues.

Therefore, while she was taking a break from studying, she was bombarded by videos and photos of

Neil’s celebration.

Some of them had posted a collage of photos, while some had posted short videos. Whatever it was,

the celebration was grand. Alas, Clarissa wasn’t involved in any way she hadn’t even known about it.

She thought about it for a long time before finally sending Damien a WhatsApp message. Clarissa: (I

saw photos of Neil’s celebration on Instagram. It looks like a lot of fun.]

Damien didn’t reply to her, though. This made her unable to focus on her studies at all. At this moment,

Clarissa felt very conflicted. She wanted Damien to reply to her, and at the same time, she wished he

wouldn’t.

The reason she didn’t want him to reply to her was that she was afraid her phone was being watched

by those people. If Damien were to reply, they would immediately know that her and Damien’s

relationship wasn’t as bad as Clarissa made it out to be. On the contrary, they would know that she and

Damien were still entangled with each other, Clarissa was afraid that something like the cancellation of

the placement would happen again, and Damien would lose money.

At the same time, she wanted Damien to reply to her so she would know how he really felt After all, if

only one person were to take the initiative in a relationship, it wouldn’t last long Moreover, Damien

didn’t know anything about the man in the black suit, so he wasn’t putting on a show with her He’d

made his attitude clear-he was enraged!

Clarissa was irritated For the past few days, she had been very cautious. Unless it was absolutely

necessary, she barely left the house she didn’t do any online shopping either, lest the other party pull

the same trick again and cause her unthinkable damage

So far, nothing had happened

Clanssa didn’t let her guard down, however she remained vigilant

Damien didn’t reply to her at all throughout these few days

She wanted to write him an email to discuss returning once a month, but just as she was about to start

writing, she received an unexpected WhatsApp message from Connie
