Love In Twilight By Tiny Mountains Chapter 352

Chapter 352 Bad at Spealding, Good at Being Jealous “Why did you bring that up?” Damien replied,

Clarissa pointed at the display window silently.

Damien saw the words ‘Chanel Kirk’ behind the display window

“She’s teaching at the University of Florin?” He sounded like he was murmuring to himsell.

Chanel was one of his many adınirers back in his high school days.

jealousy washed over Clarissa like a tidal wave. She grabbed Damien’s hand immediately.” Let’s go.

We’re never coming back to this university.”

After they returned to the hotel, Damien did his best to stimulate Clarissa on the bed. However, the

latter remained deadpan and refused to entertain him.

“You may be bad at sweet talking, but you’re incredibly good at being jealous,” he teased.

“That’s how I am. I’m bad at sweet talking and great at being jealous,” Clarissa retorted. Damien’s hand

snaked behind Clarissa’s head and lifted her from the bed. “Why don’t I take your mind off jealousy and

onto something else for once?”

“Get lost!” Clarissa knew what he meant by that. She wanted to refute, but she was soon robbed of her

ability to speak

The next day, the couple checked out of the hotel at eleven in the morning. Clarissa was still

maintaining her frosty attitude.

Then again, her silence she had when she was trying her hardest to be angry at Damien versus the

real silence she had whenever she was enraged were two different states.

Clarissa’s head was tilted upward the whole time

Damien’s smile never faded throughout their journey home

After they returned to the Hill Villa, they saw Mrs Faber tidying the mansion up

Clarissa was elated to see a familiar face back at home

“You’re back, Mrs. Faber! How are your son’s grades?” Clarissa stood in Mrs Faber’s room and

conversed with her,

“His grades are pretty decent. Once he was done with the exams, he went and looked for a job,” Mrs.

Faber replied happily while folding the laundry. “Now that he’s a university student, I hope he can hurry

up and find luimself a girlfriend I’ll be too late once he decides to start dating after he graduates from

university.”

Clarissa couldn’t help but giggle “Why are you in such a hurry? Your son’s time will naturally come.”

“Oh, you have no idea what the situation’s like My son’s blessed with good looks. Back in his high

school days, he had admirers sending him love letters every day. Once the SATs were over, a huge

mound of love letters were delivered to my house instead,” Mrs. Faber wasn’t

proud of her son’s popularity at all. Instead, she looked quite worried. “How can I not worry about my

son when he’s such a looker?”

“Mrs. Faber, I don’t think you’re worried about him. You’re just humble bragging about his

achievements. I do hope my son will be this successful in the future” After that, Clarissa headed

upstairs. She was in a good mood after returning from the trip Even though she felt uncomfortable

whenever she bumped into Patrick, her current mental state was much better compared to the period

after she gave birth.

It was already summertime, so daytime was longer than night time.

One evening at around seven o’clock, Mrs. Faber decided to clean up the courtyard and take the trash

out to sell after dinner.

The doorbell suddenly rang. It appeared that Joseph and Penelope had come for a visit.

Clarissa was surprised to see both of them at her doorstep. Damien, on the other hand, just sat on the

couch in a relaxed manner.

He never paid attention to Joseph from the start. Now that Clarissa had given birth to their son, he

could care less about Joseph The reason Penelope decided to drop by was because she wanted to

use the excuse of thanking Clarissa in order to thank Damien

“Clarissa! Thanks to your advice, I was able to join Joseph’s firm. Today, I’m here to thank you for

showing me a clear path. I’m starting to rake in businesses and projects of my own now. Some time

ago, I didn’t have any of that under my belt, which made me so anxious and nervous to the point that I

would’ve gone bald due to the stress,” Penelope gushed.novelbin

“That’s great to hear.” Clarissa looked at Joseph, who had his head bowed the entire time. She felt

awkward.

She felt like she was a matchmaker who forcibly matched two people she thought looked good together

just so she could solve her own problems.
