Chapter 336 An Idol “Clarissa, we’re here. You don’t have to wait for me. You can go back home now,”

Janet said. “I still have to go back to the company. It’s fine, I can wait for you.” Clarissa thought that it

would be better if she talked to Damien personally about Madelynn and Connie. “Alright. I’m just going

to take something and come back right after. It won’t take long.” After that, Janet got out of the car.

Clarissa waited in the car. Bored, she looked outside the windows.

Her car was currently parked at the entrance of the hotel, and she could see other cars driving in and

out constantly.

A white Alphard stopped in front of the hotel. A stylish woman got out and strutted into the entrance

That woman caught Clarissa’s attention instantly.

She looked incredibly charismatic. Clarissa predicted that her presence would definitely toss heads

wherever she went.

With distinct facial features and a charismatic disposition, the woman stepped into the hotel with

confidence. Clad in a one-piece green fur gown, she was undoubtedly the center of attention.

“She looks really pretty,” Clarissa complimented.

“She’s an actress. Of course she looks pretty,” Leah said.

“An actress? What’s her name?” Clarissa was curious.

“Iris Benson. Don’t you know her? She’s pretty famous back in the 90s. When I was still in grade

school, I remember skipping classes just to watch her show at the cinema. The movies she was cast in

are still etched in my mind. Movies like ‘The Cruise’, ‘Green Waters’, and ‘Pink Memories are all

classics worth the watch! I still remember me and my friends gossiping about her scandals around all

the famous male celebrities back then. Ah, the memories! I should probably ask for an autograph from

her!” It was the first time Leah had spoken that much to Clarissa.

“Yes, you should! It’s a rare opportunity!” Clarissa suddenly recalled how Landon used to tell her that

Iris was always stationed overseas. For Iris to return home after so many years was a rare occasion

indeed.

Under Clarissa’s encouragement, Leah searched for a pen and paper in the car and got out.

When Janet arrived, Leah still hadn’t returned yet.

“Where’s Leah?” Janet asked. Clarissa replied, “She saw her idol just now and went to get her

signature” “Leah’s already a 30-something woman, and she still has an idol?” Janet asked.

“I did! She seems like a polite person, too!” After Leah started the engine, she rambled on about how

much she loved Iris’s work. She even had Iris’s songbook with the posters attached. “Back then, all the

kids in school looked up to her so much that we all wanted to be like her. I’ll find the posters and show

them to you!”

“Alright.” Clarissa smiled.

To be honest, Clarissa didn’t want to help Connie at all. After all, Connie didn’t even offer any help back
