Love In Twilight By Tiny Mountains Chapter 315

Chapter 315 Where Does It Itch? “I‘ll do it.” Damien got up from the sofa and called the police.

Clarissa‘s heart settled back into her chest. She still felt furious on her grandmother‘s behalf, though.

She never would‘ve expected Connie to be so evil.

It was a good idea for Damien to make the call. With his status, the police would definitely take this

case seriously. Clarissa closed her eyes. Her tears slowed down her face and onto the sofa. Three of

her relatives hadn‘t died peacefully. She was starting to feel that she was a messenger of death.

“Was Lily the one who told you all of this?” Damien asked after hanging up.

She kept her eyes closed and nodded.

He pursed his lips, not saying anything. Someone knocked on the door. It was Ray. Clarissa wasn‘t

feeling too well, so she just nodded at him in greeting. “Darnien, what have you done to Clarissa?!

There are rumors flying everywhere about Clarissa being a jealous woman. I know very well what she‘s

like, so you must‘ve done something.” Ray saw her shift around and wipe her tears. “Who‘d you hear

that nonsense from? My assistant?” Damien frowned. “Just tell me whether you did anything! The

whole company knows that Clarissa‘s not going to let you off the hook. Look at how angry you‘ve made

her!” Ray stood next to Clarissa and looked at her ashen face.

“There‘s nothing of the sort. Is the finance department really that free?” Damien threw a stack of reports

at him.“Amend these. Also...”

“What is it?”

“Never mind.”

He wanted to ask Ray to call the PR director here. It would have to wait since Clarissa was still here.

Ray could see that he wasn‘t welcome here, and that Clarissa had just cried. She probably had

something to say to Damien, so he left.

Women just loved to throw tantrums with their men.

And everyone knew that the moment Madelynn had left, Clarissa had come here to kick up a fuss.

Damien probably couldn‘t really do anything to Clarissa, novelbin

Clarissa spent the rest of the afternoon lying on the sofa. She even dozed off

In the evening, Damien had the chauffeur take them home.

At night, while Clarissa was bathing, he received a call from the PR director.

“President Lawrence, are we going to proceed with what we’ve discussed earlier?” Director Bynes

asked. Damien was pacing around the balcony with a hand in his pocket. “Proceed with the plan.” “But

Clarissa... I mean, Mrs. Lawrence, I heard that she flew into a rage over this, and she‘s pregnant. I

think this...”

“Just do it!” Damien commanded.

Clarissa happened to come out of the bathroom at this time.

He watched her. Her hair was wet, and she was drying it.

“Yes, sir.”

Damien hung up, then watched Clarissa with narrowed eyes.

He sat down on the bed and pulled her onto his lip, tracing his lips around her cheek.

“It tickles.” She was still drying her hair and she tried to dodge him. His breathing was slow and steady.

Not only did it tickle her face, but it also made her whole body tingle. “Where does it itch? Here?” He

touched her.

Her face burned. “I‘m pregnant. No way.” “Why do you keep saying no to me?” Damien asked. “You‘ll

just do whatever you want, won‘t you? Does it matter what I say? This time, I‘m not in the mood!”

Clarissa turned away from him. She was reminded of her grandmother once more. She didn‘t feel as

strongly for her grandmother as she did for Theresa, but there was no denying that her grandmother

had died an untimely death.

She couldn‘t allow Madelynn and Connie to roam free.

After that, Clarissa laid down and went to sleep.
