Love In Twilight By Tiny Mountains Chapter 289

Chapter 289 The Babies Are Mine

Damien glanced at Sally as she stood in the middle of the room. Her eyes were curved downwards,

and she looked pitiful.

“Don‘t you dare slander me. Dennis! You‘re not at home all the time, and you‘ve slept with plenty of

other women as well. Why is it okay for you but not for me? Sooner or later, l‘ll kill you!” The murderous

intent in Sally‘s eyes was obvious as she glared at Dennis.novelbin

It was normal for rich couples to live their own lives. It was an unspoken tradition.

Why was it that in this case, Dennis was allowed to do whatever he wanted while Sally had to suffer

from such humiliation?

Dennis found this question laughable.

“That‘s simple. I‘m the one earning the money. If you were rich, you could do it too.” He held out a hand

and rubbed his fingers together, making the gesture for “money“.” This is what you need to call the

shots! Today, I‘ve already made everyone here aware of your shamelessness, so I‘d like to see how

you‘re going to get your claws into another fool. Also, you‘re wrong if you think you‘re going to get a

single penny out of me! You want us to get married again? You don‘t deserve it! And don‘t even dream

about using a child to extort me!”

Sally had gotten pregnant after fooling around with another guy, so she had come to trick Dennis into

marrying her again, or at least to sleep with her again, so she could say that the baby was his. After all,

he was very rich. However, Dennis had seen right through her plan and had spread the word about her

shamelessness all over Genovia.

He was rich, but he wasn‘t a fool.

Damien glanced at Frank.

Frank also happened to sneak a glance at Damien. Everyone left after witnessing Sally‘s disgrace.

Damien was the only person left, aside from Dennis,

“What do you think of this move?”

“It‘s a blessing in disguise,” Damien said mysteriously.

“I don‘t get you.” Dennis continued, “Anyway, there‘s something I need to remind you about, President

Lawrence, Some time ago, I heard that while Mrs. Lawrence was in Emmeria, you remained here the

whole time. Are you sure everything‘s okay with her pregnancy? Why are you still keeping her with you

when she cheated on you? Maybe you should do what I died and make bore unable to survive 111

Genovia I was only nice to her before because of you. I didn‘t expect such an innocent looking woman

to be even more crafty than Sally. Women are like clothes, you know you need to change them

frequently.”

“The babies are mine,” Damien said confidently, chuckling.

“Well, if you have the situation under control, I won‘t say anything else. But if she‘s up to no good, you

can leave her to me. I‘ll make her wish she was dead!” Dennis said.

Damien said, “She‘s my woman, after all. It‘s up to me what to do with her.”

Dennis felt a little awkward at this. “Alright, then. I‘ll buy you a meal next time.”

“Sure. Best to make it lunch.”

“Ah, yes. You need to accompany your wife at night, don‘t you? Lunch it is, then.”

“I have to get going.” Damien stood up to leave.

“Wait, something‘s not right. If you‘re not up for functions at night, why‘d you come out with me last

time? And why are you here tonight?” Dennis grabbed Damien‘s sleeve.

Damien merely smiled without saying anything. He hurried out of the private room.

Dennis gave it some thought. ‘He went to Saga last time because Clarissa was out with her friends.‘

‘He came out this time as well, but he was in such a hurry to leave. He probably doesn‘t want her to

worry.

Dennis felt a little contemptuous. ‘What does a woman matter? She won‘t appreciate it anyway!‘
