Love In Twilight By Tiny Mountains Chapter 262

Chapter 262 I‘m A Horrible Person In Front Of You The moment Clarissa heard the words “disgusting”

and “shameless” being used to describe her, her body went weak. All her life, she had never done

anything that had gone against her principles. How could he describe her like she was some random

slut?

“Since I‘m that much of a slut to you, why don‘t you have Madelynn as your girlfriend instead? I bet

she‘s the best of the best,” Clarissa sobbed, staining the pillows with her tears.

The image of Madelynn kissing Damien on the cheek and that time where he didn‘t return home rose to

her mind.

All of a sudden, Clarissa felt that she was the most hypocritical woman in the world. From the start, shenovelbin

was the one who divorced him and decided to never see him again in her life. Despite everything that

had happened, she had fallen in love with him all over again.

Damien‘s words were true after all. “Shameless” was definitely the most suitable word to describe her

behavior.

Damien forced his hands on hers and then bit her neck before kissing it roughly. Clarissa‘s hands were

in so much pain that it was almost bruising.

“I‘ll go and find her tomorrow,” Damien said.

“Go now! Get the hell off me and sleep with her instead!” Clarissa let out a shrill scream.

Guilt shrouded her the moment she realized the romantic feelings she harbored for Damien. How could

she love him after what he had done to her mother? Conflicted with her own emotions, she vented her

feelings with harsh words.

“I‘ll go after I‘m done fucking you!” Damien said, his movements rough. His tone was colder than it

usually was. He was clearly agitated by Clarissa‘s earlier words. After it ended, he rested beside her

and reached for her phone to call somebody. Clarissa, who was still crying, didn‘t pay attention to what

he was talking about. “Clarissa won‘t be working at First anymore. I‘ll pay for the fees incurred for the

breach of contract.” “Where is she going? That‘s none of your business! Remember that time when you

knelt before me? I dare you to pry into this. You‘ll suffer the same fate again.”

Then, Damien hung up. When Clarissa heard that Damien was calling Joseph just now, she turned

over. “You don‘t have the right to meddle with my work!”

He cocked his head and looked at Clarissa with a look of ridicule. It almost seemed like he was plotting

something without her knowledge.

He had regained his composure after the rough sex they had just now. Now, he was back to the usual

Damien, who was cold and unapproachable as ever.

“Do I look like I‘m asking for your opinion?” Then, he caressed Clarissa‘s cheeks with his

hands and traced his fingers down her pearl white skin. “Don‘t ever think that you can run away from

me.”

She glared at him for a moment and blurted hatefully, “You pervert.‘

“Do you only know that today?” he asked her with a casual tone.

After forcing Clarissa to quit her job at First, Damien felt like he had won a war.

“When you approached me to ask for my hand in marriage, I thought you were a gentleman with a calm

and collected disposition. Who knew that...” In a fit of rage, she couldn‘t find the suitable vocabulary to

describe him, “I didn‘t know you‘re such a horrible person!”

Damien inched closer to Clarissa‘s ear and whispered flirtatiously, “I‘m only a horrible person in front of

you, my darling.” Right now, Clarissa was exhausted. The only thing she wanted to do was to sleep.

Though she was curious about how Joseph felt about Damien using her phone to call him, she was too

tired to think straight.

Without realizing it, she fell into a deep slumber.

The next day when she woke up, she looked at the clock. It was already nine thirty in the morning, but

Damien wasn‘t beside her.

With her body aching all over, she decided to lay on the bed for a while before heading outside.

Damien was wearing his glasses while sitting on the sofa reading a book. This time, Clarissa wouldn‘t

fall for his handsome looks anymore.

“Didn‘t you go to see Madelynn today?” Clarissa asked.

He looked at his wrist watch and replied, “We‘re meeting at three later.”

Damien had prepared some breakfast for Clarissa. He had even prepared a hard–boiled egg for her. At

this point, he was really treating her like a child. Clarissa sat at the chair and started on her breakfast.

At this moment, Damien‘s phone rang and he picked it up. “Yes, it‘s maternity leave. She‘ll start

working right after her leave ends.” After that, he hung up.

A chill went down her spine. ‘Is he talking about me? I thought he‘s already told Joseph I‘m quitting my

job at First.‘

“Who are you on the phone with?” Clarissa asked warily. “The HR department of New East

Corporation,” Damien said. “Who‘s the person you‘re talking about?”
