Love In Twilight By Tiny Mountains Chapter 101

Chapter 101 Tell Me When Someone’s Done You Wrong “D-Damien, you…” Madelynn was greatly

confounded.

The fact she had been staying in Damien’s liouse gave their relationship an ambiguous vibc, as il she

was his.

Now, however, if she were to stay in a house that belonged to both him and Clarissa, what did that

make hier? A guest, or a person living under someone’s roof?

She, a celebrity, couldn’t afford to buy a house of her own?

Damien didn’t say anything. He simply waited for the liousing bureau employee to handle the

procedures.

Once the deed was ready, he passed it to Madelynn. “Here, you can hold on to it. You’ll probably need

it for a lot of other things.”

“W-Wait, Damien…” She was about to say something, but he had already turned to Clarissa, saying

seriously, “Next time, just tell me when someone’s done you wrong. Don’t just come home and cry

about it! Let’s go!” He grabbed Clarissa’s hand and dragged her out.

Monica nudged Madelynn, anxious, “What’s going on?”

“How should I know?” Madelynn bit back in frustration.

Her eyes were filled with hatred as she watched Damien and Clarissa leave.

Damien had mentioned that someone had done her wrong” Clarissa had probably spun a tale about

her!

Clarissa! This isn’t the end!

Back in the car, Clarissa was still dazed. She didn’t know what Damien meant by this.

She felt that he was probably putting on a show for Madelynn. Aller all, he was the president of a public

listed company, and the paparazzi would have a field day if they were to find out that a female celebrity

was staying in a louse belonging to him. Adding Clarissa’s name to the deed would be a good way to

avoid a scandal, which would allect his company’s share price.

Whatever it was, their contract had clearly stated that Damien’s assets had nothing to do with her.

Since her name could be added to a property deed, it could also be easily removed. He wouldn’t even

have to explain a word.

Though the true source of Clarissa’s displeasure bad yet to be resolved, she was still moved by

Damien’s actions. He was telling both Clarissa and Madelynn and Madelynn was a guest in a house

owned by himself and Clarissa. There was one thing that Clarissa didn’t understand, though. Weren’t

he and Madelynn an item? Why was he doing this to her?

Just as she was trying to puzzle things out, lier phone chimed.

It was a message from the administrator of the class she had signed up for carlier. She had passed the

exam for economic law, and she was supposed to go collect her transcript from

Riverside Building.

Instantly, all of her gloominess dissipated and she broke into a smile. She had yet to even check her

results, but they were already telling her to collect her transcript. She quickly checked hier score online-

eighty-four. It was considered a high score. “Can you take me to Riverside Building?” she asked

Damien.

Damien knew that she had gone for classes there, but he didn’t seem to be interested in knowing

anything else. “What for?” “1 passed the exam lor economic law, and I need to go collect my transcript.”

She added, “I scored eighty-four for it, you know!” “Oh, is that good?” His tone was devoid of emotion

He switched directions, heading for Riverside Building “Of course…” Suddenly, she didn’t want to say

anything anymore. It was obvious he wasn’t interested in knowing. Plus, she heard that he had

graduated from a renowned university abroad. Her results probably meant nothing to him. She would

only be making a fool out of hersell by bragging about it. When they arrived at Riverside Building, she

said, “Wait here. I’ll be back in a jiffy!” After that, she skipped out of the car cheerily and walked into the

building.

Luke’s car was parked near the building, and he saw Clarissa coming from a distance.novelbin

He was pleasantly surprised by the way she was dressed. To tell the truth. Clarissa had always been a

pretty girl she was tall, fair, and had legs that went on for days. Even dressed normally, one would still

be able to pick her out among the crowd. Now that she was dressed up, she stood out even more than

usual. It wouldn’t be an exaggeration to say that she was the prettiest girl in the city. As his gaze trailed

toward the direction that she had come from, he saw Damien sitting in the car. Damien lit a cigarette,

and stared quietly in Luke’s direction.

‘Did Damien find her too shabby when she came home to collect her clothes? Did he buy her new

clothes so she wouldn’t disgrace him?’ Clarissa headed to the administrative office. There weren’t

many students who had passed, and they all came at different times to collect their transcripts. Thus,

she was the only student present, and the only teacher around was Joseph.

When he saw her, his thoughts echoed Luke’s.

“Mr. Moore.” Clarissa felt a little awkward. After all, Joseph had gone to the villa and got into an

argument with Damien not too long ago. “Hi, Clarissa. You scored eighty-four, which is considered

really high. Even I didn’t score that high when I sat for this exam,” Joseph said gently. Clarissa smiled.

‘Mr. Moore knows his stuff. He knows that this is a high score, unlike a certain someone!

She said, “It’s mainly thanks to you being a good teacher.”

“No matter how good of a teacher I am, I still have students who failed the exam. It still comes down to

you being a good student. Are you going to attend classes for financial cost

management?” She paused. So much happened when I was studying economic law. The sky’s

probably going to come crashing down on me if I continue to study financial cost management here.’

“Oh, I don’t think so. I’ve had a lot of time to study for this paper, and I don’t think I have the time to

attend classes,” she said.

Joseph nodded and took in the way she was dressed again. “You look great in that outfit.” His appraisal

made her hair stand on end. As she recalled the arguments that had started because of him, Clarissa

found herself wishing she was wearing something else. “Is that so? Thank you, Mr. Moore. I should get

going.” After that, she turned to leave the administrative office. On the way, she almost ran into

someone.
