Ann turned around and glanced at Frank uneasily. When she met his cold gaze, she felt a little nervous.Frank was still sitting lazily and elegantly. He looked at her with a half-smile. Frank thought, “What a clumsy performance! The more you say, the more Ifeel sick. You have taken Jodie’s place for so many years, and now you even want to stop me fromfinding Jodie. I won’t let you go.” Frank rocked backwards and forwards on his chair, looking charming.Ann was deeply attracted to him. It was rare for Ann to see such a wild Frank. Ann glanced behind her. She was a little worried. If Gary did not come back now, Marilyn would definitelysuspect Ann.
