Chapter 163

Chapter 163

Frank felt alone all these years before the day Judith suddenly appeared. Judith lit the hope of his life.Once again, he felt life was bright and beautiful. Therefore, this time, he would not stand aside miserably, seeing the other man happily being with Judith. He wanted to tell Judith about his feelings. He hopedthey would have a happy ending.

Judith selected a lot of things, from the daily necessities to the food. When it was time to pay, Frankstopped her and swiped his card. Judith signed. Then she checked the receipt and was about to transferthe money to Frank. Frank held the shopping bags in both hands. The sharp-eyed man noted whatJudith was doing. He frowned and said, “Judy, Eric and you have the employee benefit. Our companywill cover all these expenses. You don’t have to transfer the money to me.”

Judith glanced at him and thought it was too good to be true. She quickly shook her head, “Mr. Taylor, these are some groceries. The employee benefit written on my contract doesn’t cover these expenses.”Judith lowered her head and transferred the money to Frank. Frank’s face fell when he heard thenotification on his phone. On their way back, neither of them said a word. Judith knew that Frank wasupset. However, she was a proud and principled woman. She didn’t want to be helped when she couldhandle it by herself. She adhered to this principle since she was a kid. Even though the Cooper familyhadn’t given her a penny after she went to university, Judith gritted her teeth and still made it.

With the scholarship and the money she earned from her part-time jobs, she lived frugally and scrapedup enough money to finish her university studies. In college, while others were busy dating and dressingup, she was busy with work to make money. Judith was one of the most beautiful girls in the university. At that time, many boys were after her. But she was too busy to pay any attention to them. She wasalways hurried on the road, rushing back and forth between several jobs. However, she did not feel tiredat all and always wore her dazzling smile. Frank carried the bags and insisted on dropping Judith home.Judith had no way but to follow him resignedly. She shouted in her mind, “What the hell’s wrong withnovelbin

him?” Judith lived in the small apartment that Frank had asked the company to buy back then. It was forthe employees of the branch company to live in. Tonight was Frank’s first time coming over. He looked atthis one-bed flat and frowned. “It is too small,” he thought. Judith glanced at Frank, but she could notdrive him away “Thank you, Mr. Taylor. Just put the bags on the table first. I’ll get you a cup of coffee.”Judith did not understand what Frank wanted to do. It was said that one’s faults are not written in theirforeheads. She should be careful! “Alright!” Frank nodded. His voice was deep and mellow._ He put thethings on the table and looked at the beauty in the kitchen who was making coffee. He smiled slyly,“Judy, I’m hungry.” Judith was grinding coffee beans. Her hand trembled slightly as she heard Frank.“Why did he say that to me? I’m not his maid. Why did he ask me for food?” Judith thought angrily. Shecalmed herself down and said to Frank, “Mr. Taylor, what would you like to eat? I can order some takeoutfor you.” Frank frowned and shook his head. “I don’t like takeout!” Judith was dumbfounded. “Was heasking me to cook for him?”
