Felix Jefferson's expression turned grim in a second.
With his eyes fixed on Chris, he roared, "Chris Shelby, you filthy liar!"
Chris sneered, "Felix Jefferson, you idiot! You better surrender, or you'll die now!"
In an instant, Felix's face turned ashen.
"Chris Shelby, I lost to you in the end!"
Facing hundreds of heavily armed fighters, Felix had no resistance.
"Catch him and hand him over to the local patrol house," Chris ordered.
"Yes, Master!" Tiger nodded. Then he waved - a few fighters stepped forward to grab Felix.
"Wait a minute!" John exclaimed suddenly.
He looked up at Chris and said, "I have something to say to him!"
Chris frowned and said, "Dad, what else is there to say to this kind of person?"
John shook his head and said, "You don't understand. He and I are brothers. Let me give it a shot -
maybe I can get through to him."
Chris nodded in agreement with John's insistence.
John said to Felix, "Felix, my last word of advice - stop now, or you'll have no choice but to die."
"I don't want your fake kindness and pretending! If you want to save me, come on over here. I have
something to tell you." Felix said with a look of contempt.
"Okay, as long as you surrender, I'll go over."
When she saw John was going over, Esther shouted suddenly, "Dad, don't go over – that might be just
a trap!"
John smiled and said, "Don't worry. He's a sitting duck now - what can he do to me?"
With that said, John walked towards Felix.
When he saw John coming over, Felix snorted coldly, "Hi, my dear brother. I thought you wouldn't
dare!"
John looked at Felix and sighed softly, "Felix, I'm here now. What do you have to tell me?"
"The last thing I want to tell you is..."
Suddenly, Felix charged toward John and took out a pistol.
"None of you move, or I'll shoot him!" Felix yelled, pointing the gun at John's head.
Everyone's expressions changed suddenly.
No one would have thought that Felix had hidden a gun!
"Dad!" Esther suddenly shouted and was almost crying.
Chris looked at her and said, "Don't worry, I will save Dad!"novelbin
Esther nodded. She could only put all her hopes on Chris now.
Chris turned his head and stared at Felix, expressionless, "Felix Jefferson, let go of John, and I can
spare your life!"
"Ha-ha-ha!" Felix laughed. "Chris Shelby, don't you want to save John Jefferson? You let me go, and I'll
let him go!"
"Get out of the way!" Chris waved. In a split second, hundreds of soldiers immediately gave way.
"Load all this money into the helicopter!" Felix yelled.
Chris nodded, and immediately someone loaded the bag of cash into the helicopter.
And just like that, Felix took John hostage and walked towards the helicopter.
"Felix, stop it. You can't leave!" John said with a sad face.
He didn't expect that Felix would not give up until this time.
Felix said viciously, "Shut up, or I'll kill you!"
After getting on the helicopter, Felix pointed his gun at the pilot, "Get out!"
Helicopter propellers turned quickly and then slowly rose.
"John, you've never been my match since you were a kid, and now, you're still not my match, either! Go
to hell!" Felix grinned, pointed his pistol at John, and was about to pull the trigger.
