Chapter 792

Chapter 792

Although Chad Grant was very scared, he was acutely aware that he absolutely could not sign that

document. If he dared to sign it, Evan Daniels would certainly not let him off the hook. When the time

came, it wouldn't be Chris Shelby that killed him - Evan Daniels would do it himself!

Seeing Chad Grant still refusing to sign, Chris Shelby couldn't help but frown. He had not expected

Chad Grant to be so loyal. He had been beaten so badly and yet still refused to sign?

Chris Shelby sat on the sofa, legs crossed, puffing on a cigarette. "You don't want to sign? That's fine.

Soon, you will be begging me on your knees to sign!"

Upon hearing Chris Shelby's words, Chad Grant's face filled with contempt. Did Shelby really believe

he would kneel in front of him begging to sign? That was laughable! As long as he himself didn't sign,

what could Chris Shelby do?

Suddenly, the office door was pushed open. A few uniformed individuals entered, one of whom, a

stern-looking middle-aged man, stepped forward. "Who is Chad Grant?"

Chad Grant stood up and curiously asked, "Who are you people?"

"We're from the Oversight Bureau. Chad Grant, you are suspected of job-related crimes. Here is your

arrest warrant. Come with us," the middle-aged man said, holding out an arrest warrant with an

expressionless face.

Boom!

The words struck Chad Grant like a bolt from the blue. His face suddenly turned pale, drained of all

color. The Oversight Bureau? How could this be? Why would they be looking for him? He was part of

the Daniels family, after all!

Suddenly, he turned his head towards Chris Shelby, who was looking at him with a smile that wasn't

quite a smile. That's right, it was him! This demon before his eyes! It must've been him stirring things

up behind the scenes!

Although Chad Grant didn't know who Chris Shelby was or why he had the power to involve the

Oversight Bureau, the situation as it stood made it clear. The sudden visit from the Oversight Bureau

absolutely had something to do with Chris Shelby!

"Mr. Shelby, I'll sign right now!" Chad Grant tried to chuckle, reaching for the approval document on the

table.

Swoosh!

Chris Shelby snatched the document away. "You want to sign? It's too late now," he said, looking at

Chad Grant with a playful expression.

Chad Grant looked up, his face filled with disbelief. "Mr. Shelby, what do you mean by this?"

Chris Shelby waved the document in his hand. "No particular meaning. You're about to be locked up.

What use is your signature to me now? So, you no longer have the right to sign."

"Ah!" Chad Grant's face turned pale with shock. What was going on? Was he about to lose his position

as the director? He wanted to sign but no longer had the right? And on top of that, he might even go to

jail?

Thump!

Chad Grant suddenly knelt before Chris Shelby. "Mr. Shelby, please, give me a chance to sign!"

Chris Shelby laughed. "I told you, sooner or later you would kneel before me begging me to sign. Isn't it

the case now?"

"But what a pity! What a pity! You want to sign, but why should I let you?"

Bang!

Bang!

Bang!

Chad Grant kept kowtowing, tears streaming down his face. "Mr. Shelby, I was blinded before. Please,

let me sign this document!"

At this point, Chad Grant was very clear. Whether he could keep his position hinged on whether he

could sign for the Chester Group. If he couldn't sign for the Chester Group, his time as the director wasnovelbin

over.
