Chapter 1172: The Kidnapping of Esther

Wesley Eastman never failed to get what he wanted, from childhood to this day. But having his armtwisted and broken by Chris Shelby ignited a fire of revenge that he could not quench. As Chriswalked away coldly, Eastman's eyes darted with a frosty murderous intent.

"Chris Shelby, since you are so ignorant of death, do not blame me for being ruthless!" Eastmanswore, his voice thick with menace.

After teaching Wesley Eastman a lesson, Chris returned to the diner. "Chris, you're back?" Julietteasked as he entered.

"Yeah," Chris nodded, his tone nonchalant. "Just Wes Eastman, barely took a moment to handle."

Juliette and Esther showed no surprise; it was clear to them that Wesley was no match for Chris. After finishing their meal, the group went home, settling back into their everyday lives filled with thesimple joys of family and leisure.

Meanwhile, Wesley was plotting in a luxurious presidential suite of a five-star hotel. "This is Esther'sphoto. Your task is simple - bring her to me," he commanded, handing over a photograph of Estherto ten master-level practitioners, all fiercely loyal and secretly trained by the Eastman family foryears.

The ten nodded, needing no further instruction, and quickly left to carry out their orders.

As evening descended, Esther and Juliette exited their office building. Chris hadn't come to pickEsther up, staying home with Hope who'd been shaken by a previous kidnapping incident.Suddenly, an ear-piercing screech of brakes filled the air. A van skidded to a halt in front of them, and ten master-level practitioners swiftly descended.

"Esther, watch out!" Juliette yelled, rushing to her defense, but despite being Chris Shelby's sisterand herself a master-level practitioner, she could not fend off ten assailants on her own.novelbin

Esther cried for help as she struggled futilely against the kidnappers who swiftly forced her into thevan. The vehicle sped away, leaving Juliette in tears. After growing close over the past few months, the two women had become like sisters, and Juliette's pursuit of Chris hadn't diminished theirfriendship.

With Esther taken, a distraught Juliette immediately called Chris. "Chris, it's terrible! Something hashappened to Esther!" she blurted out over the phone.

"What happened?" Chris asked urgently.

"It's hard to explain over the phone. Please hurry over!" Juliette replied with a sob.

Chris's worry deepened, and he raced to the site. Upon arriving, he found Juliette alone, near tears. As Chris approached, she broke down: "Chris, Esther was kidnapped! These men suddenlyappeared from a van and took her!"

Chris's face darkened with rage, sensing the ominous motives behind the kidnapping. At thatmoment, Bull Parker, responsible for Esther's safety, arrived with his team, apologetic for theirfailure.

"I thought no one would dare touch Esther here," Parker admitted, his oversight a grave error intheir security.

Chris was furious. "Are you all useless? Secure her safety! Now find her!" he commanded.

Parker mobilized two hundred thousand members of the East Coast security firm, commencing amassive search to locate Esther across the region.
