"Alright, I'm checking the database right now." Beverly spoke up again after a minute had passed.

"Hello, Deacon Penn. According to the database, this person is named Felix Cohen. He lives in Twelven Town of the Kardon Province, located in the Treasurecove District. He's a villager in Twelven Town and is currently forty-three years old. During the age of twenty to thirty-five, he was in prison for multiple assault and robbery cases. His records have remained clean after he turned thirty-five." "Thank you, Beverly." "You're welcome, Deacon Penn. It's my duty." "Goodbye, Beverly." "I'm looking forward to receiving a call from you again. Goodbye, Deacon Penn." Wilbur hung up. Skyler asked curiously, "Who did you call?" "A specialized personnel. It's totally wicked," said Wilbur.

Skyler rolled his eyes as Wilbur continued, "That goatee guy is called Felix Cohen. He's a local criminal. It seems your guess was right." "Awesome. You got his name?" Skyler was indeed impressed.

Wilbur chuckled and said, "Let's go to sleep and head into town tomorrow." The next morning.

The four of them got up and had breakfast near the hotel entrance.

Suddenly, a disheveled and seemingly deranged woman stood at the doorway. She barely had any clothes on as she gazed at Wilbur and the rest having breakfast with a hungry expression on her face.

Wilbur hurriedly asked for two steamed buns to give to the woman.

The woman accepted the food. She sat on the steps outside and began to devour the food hungrily.

Wilbur sighed while looking at her. There were a lot of pitiful people in the world. However, he could not help them all.

The hotel restaurant owner served them soup right then. When he saw the woman outside, he shook his head.

Wilbur noticed this and asked, "Do you know that woman?" "Who doesn't? She's from our town," said the owner.novelbin

Wilbur asked, "Has she always been like that?" "She used to be fine, but she went crazy after something happened to her family. Poor thing," said the owner while shaking his head.

When he heard that, Wilbur continued to ask, "Can you tell us what happened to her family?" The owner kept shaking his head and replied, "I don't know. Don't ask around because you'll get yourself into trouble." Wilbur nodded slowly and did not question it any further.

Skyler glanced at the owner and transferred a thousand dollars to him. He then said, "Sir, we like to listen to stories. Please tell us." The owner was stunned to see that he had received a thousand dollars in his account. He looked around to see that there was no one else nearby. After that, he ccloser to Wilbur and the others, telling them the story as he wiped the table.

"This woman is named Lucy Christophe. Her husband used to work at a small gold mine in the mountains and died when the mine collapsed. However, the mine owner covered up the truth, and the town did nothing. She went to seek justice from the mine owner with her son. She was beaten up, and a few days later, her son went missing. When that happened, she went crazy. This incident was more than a decade ago." "Who the hell is this capable mine owner?" asked Skyler in a shocked tone.

The owner shook his head because he did not want to tell them.

Wilbur asked at that moment, "Is it Felix Cohen?" The owner glanced at Wilbur and said hesitantly, "I didn't say that it was." After that, he left to get back into the kitchen.

Wilbur and Skyler looked at each other. Wilbur said slowly, "One is Felix Cohen, and the other is the person who's in charge of this town. They're both the ones behind all this."
