What was 30 million and 50 million dollars when compared to 1.2 billion, right? Butler Weiss laughed heartily. "Of course! Since Elder Yale has spoken, who am | to refuse this increment? I'll put in another twenty million dollars." Yohan said no more. He then closed his eyes and began to meditate.

Shane was as polite and full of smiles as before, but Chad was seething in rage.

He finally realized that the Weiss clan had probably been in cahoots with Yohan from the start, and they were merely putting on an act together.

However, Chad cprepared. He took a deep breath and said, "This is ridiculous. | don't think this negotiation is going anywhere.

Let's just see each other in court." "In court?" Shane chuckled. "Sure. Barney Weiss is a member of the legal judiciary system. His position isn't very powerful, but he just happens to be in charge of supervising the mining industry. Let's see each other in court." Wilbur could not help but sigh. No wonder the Weiss clan was so cocky. Even a retired elder like Yohan was on their side.

It was clear that aside from physical violence, the Weiss clan also had its influence all across Taya City. That was something the Lesters undeniably lacked.

Of course, Chad knew who Barney Weiss was. He was only mentioning a court case out of indignance.

Shane's threat nearly gave Chad a heart attack.

Chad took a deep breath, and said, "You robbedof my ore, beatand my miners up, and now you want my coal mine altogether? Did you think | wouldn't retaliate?" "Ho ho ho," Shane chuckled. "Fine, I'll be frank with you. Give up the coal mine and your family will be safe. If you refuse, you can forget about your business altogether. The Lesters will have no place in Taya City after this." Everyone still looked calm, but the threats were serious and deadly. Chad was practically trembling with rage.

He knew that there was no point in carrying on with the discussion. He looked at Yohan. "Elder Yale, aren't you going to say something?" "Calm down, Chad. There's always room for negotiations. Don't get all worked up just yet." Yohan closed his eyes after that, even cracking a yawn. It was clear he was trying to play the fool.

Chad was livid. He had forked out a fortune just to get Yohan to mediate.

It would seem that Yohan refused to help him, and even sided with the Weiss Clan. He was being toyed with! Amidst his rage, Chad shouted, "Shane Weiss, I'm not selling my mine! You and the Weiss clan can forget about getting it!" "Ha." At last, Shane's true colors were revealed as he dropped his smile and said coldly, "Well, none of you are leaving today until you give in." "What do you mean by that?" Chad asked.

Shane's gaze was icy. "Do | need to spell it out for you?" "I'm not sweakling you can step all over, Shane," Chad said, grinding his teeth.novelbin

Just then, Shane made a signal and the two men behind him walked up to the door. They bolted it shut and stood guard before it.

Meanwhile, Shane leisurely sipped his tea.

Chad's chest heaved with rage. He turned to look at Colin and Toshi.

Colin was the first to stand, chuckling as he said, "Don't worry, Mister Lester. You paid us, and we'll do what we have to. What would you like?" "Let's go." Chad did not want to get physical as his son and daughter-in-law were there.

However, Shane burst into a fit of laughter and said, "I'd like to see which of you would manage to get out of here." Colin stepped up. "I've wanted to beat you up for a long tnow, you old geezer. Another word and I'll break your legs." Shane's expression darkened and got to his feet. "Did you really think someone like you would have the right to be speaking tolike this? | really think you've got a death wish."
