"Hey, watch your tone," the shop owner said, obviously displeased.

The man chuckled. "Dude, if you're going to pay that much for a Goldmoon, I've got plenty of them at home." Wilbur stopped short. It sounded too good to be true.

"Do you really have Goldmoon, sir?" Wilbur was still suspicious. After all, the antique industry was filled with scammers.

The man chuckled, looking at Wilbur in disdain. "My family's in the mining industry. We dug up no less than fifty tons of this stuff half a year ago. They're still at the mine." No less than fifty tons? Wilbur was overjoyed. Thirty tons of Goldmoon was more than enough to make a formation. Heck, it was even enough to make a weapon.

He handed the man a cigarette, smiling at him. "I'll take all of it! You can chargejust based on this stone, how's that?" "Uhm, sure. We haven't got any use for it anyway," the man said haughtily.

Wilbur calculated the amount in his head. The Goldmoon he had right now was about thirty pounds, and he was paying twenty thousand dollars for it." One ton would cost about 600 thousand, and 50 tons would cost him 30 million dollars. That was quite a steep price.

Things like this might not be of use to regular people, but such a large amount of it was considered treasure to a cultivator. Thirty million was a price that was totally worth paying.

Amidst his glee, Wilbur said to the man, "Where are you from, dude? How should | address you?" "Wallace Lester from Taya City in the Kin Province. Everyone knowsin Taya City," Wallace said haughtily.

Wilbur said at once, "It's an honor to meet you! When can we settle this deal?" "One moment. | just need to call my family." Wilbur nodded profusely, and Wallace took out his phone at once. He turned away, smiling to himself as he called his family.

He was on holiday with his girlfriend, and it had been two months since he had gone home. Now he was going to have one heck of a surprise for his family.

His father had always reprimanded him for not having a good head on his shoulders. Well, it was just his luck now that he had run into an idiot who was willing to spend big money on something so useless.

His family hardly had anywhere to store the Goldmoon they had dug up, so they had just left it at the mining site. There were 70 to 80 tons of it lying around.novelbin

He would be making big money selling it off like this, and his father would finally praise him.

Wallace dialed his father's number, overwhelmed with emotion.

The call connected, and it took less than thirty seconds for Wallace's smile to drop completely.

A little over ten minutes later, he hung up the phone hurriedly before turning to grab his girlfriend Wendy Lace by the hand to leave, not paying Wilbur any mind in the slightest.

Wilbur was in shock, hurrying to stop Wallace at once. "Dude, what happened to our deal?" "The stuff's gone. Deal's off." Wallace dragged Wendy away by the hand as if he was dying to leave.

Wilbur frowned. Like hell he was going to let go of something so good.

He stopped Wallace again. "Wait! Tellwhat happened, | don't mind paying more if it's the price you're worried about." "It's not the money," Wallace responded impatiently.

Wilbur asked, "What is it, then?" Seeing as Wilbur was refusing to let up, Wallace had no choice but to say, "We've been robbed. The stuff's taken gone."
