Wilbur frowned. "As the spirit sap and these plants begin to let out spirit aura, others will eventually notice it, which isn't a good thing." Everyone else nodded. It would be hard to keep the peace here if anyone were to know about something so precious.

Wilbur continued, "So, I'm going to need something to lay down a formation that seals the spirit aura in here. That way, the spirit aura will only grow more powerful here and it'll also be undetectable to anyone outside." "That's a great idea!" The crowd nodded.

"However, I'm going to need sincredibly hard material to make this formation. It needs to be hard enough to withstand the spirit energy of the spells I'm going to carve into it. Keep an eye out for things like that," Wilbur said.

Faron frowned. "What are we looking for?" "Maybe something like ancient jade, the kind that's been around for over a thousand years," Wilbur said.

Everyone else was in shock at once. How on earth were they supposed to find something like that? Wilbur said, "Just keep an eye out for it. I'll be looking for it myself too." Everyone else nodded, agreeing to be on the lookout.

After chatting for a while, Wilbur said, "Alright, that's all, then. You can all be off to do your own things now." He then turned to Skyler. "We have plenty of rooms here. You can just pick one to live in. We don't feed our tenants, though." "Got it, Boss!" Skyler got up, rushing out to look for a room to claim.

He finally had more of an idea of who Wilbur was.

Everyone else apart from Faye left. She looked at Wilbur. "You've worked really hard." "Oh, it's nothing," Wilbur replied with a smile.

Faye stared back at him, feeling an ache in her chest.

Wilbur seemed uncaring and energetic, but he seemed to always be on the move.

As tpassed, everyone on Sealake Island had gotten something good from Wilbur that gave them a new life.

Wilbur had done all of that on his own.

Faye sighed. "Get srest, and don't wear yourself out. Why don't you go on vacation for a few days?" "I'll think about it," Wilbur smiled.

Faye nodded. She left after that, not wanting to disrupt Wilbur any further.

Wilbur let out a sigh after she was gone. A vacation was easier said than done.

Shaking his head, he returned to his room to take a shower before falling fast asleep.

The next morning, Wilbur got ready and drove to Henwood's. It had been a while since he had eaten there, and he missed the food there quite a bit.

He had decided to head to Octocharm Town once he was done with breakfast to see if there was anything he could get. There was not much hope, but it would not hurt to try his luck.

Wilbur arrived at Henwood's not long after, and the owner greeted him warmly with a large spread of sandwiches and mushroom soup. Knowing Wilbur's appetite, there were also a few plates of toast.

Wilbur thanked the owner and was about to eat when he spotted someone. His expression darkened, and he set down his spoon.

"What gave you the gall to remain here?" Sitting at the table across from him was the female assassin, Gertridge Quick, who had tried to kill him before, also known as Purple Rose.novelbin

Gertridge shrugged. "I didn't have a choice, dude. My old squad's been huntingdown. This is the safest place | can be." "What makes you think it's safe here?" Wilbur asked coldly.

Gertridge smiled. "Everyone knows that Seechertown's not to be messed with. | think my old colleagues know that too." "What makes you say that?"
