Suddenly, her phone rang. She noticed it was an unknown number, and she was not in the mood, soshe tossed her phone to the side.

Sammy had a sudden realization and hurriedly answered the call.

“Sammy?”

“Sir?”

“Come to Sealake Island. I’ve decided to help you

Really? Thank you, sir! I’ll be right there.”

Sammy hung up. She cried out of joy and said, “He’s willing to help me!”

Dom hurriedly said, “Let’s go, then. We wouldn’t want him to wait.”

“I’ll carry you.” Dom sighed and carried his sister on his back to the parking lot. He placed her in the carand drove toward Sealake Island.

They arrived at Sealake Island soon. Dom supported her all the way to the bridge. Charles was notifieda long time ago, so he allowed them entry and led them to Wilbur’s room.

They knocked on the door before entering the room, and they bowed when they saw Wilbur

Wilbur looked at Sammy’s brother and asked, “And this is?”

“Sir, this is my brother, Dom Shandon. He’s here to deliver the jade statue, but it got stolen,” saidSammy with tears in her

eyes.

“Hey, look at what I have here,” Wilbur pointed at the jade statue on the table and laughed.

They were instantly dumbfounded. Dom ran toward the jade statue and inspected it carefully. It wasindeed their family heirloom.

“H–How did it get here?” asked Samany in a surprised tone.

Wilbur smiled and said, “It’s a gift from someone. I knew it was yours, so I called you to come over.”

“But…” Sammy still looked confused.

Dom sighed and said, “Sir, you’re truly capable. I’m in awe.”

The Shandons were a rich business family in Zealand. Dom was a businessman, and he had a widenetwork of connections.
