After seeing through her aunt’s scheme, Nancy stood up and said, “I’m sorry, but I have some businessto attend to. I need to get back to Seechertown Let’s go, Wilbur.”
He nodded and got ready to leave. He did not want to stay there any longer than he needed to.
Roanne hurriedly stopped Nancy by standing up and grabbing her. She asked, “What are you doing?Do you know who he is? Jason is Harold’s nephew. It’s an honor that he likes you, so don’t beungrateful. There are rich men in the city, but will you be good enough for them?”
