Chapter 219

Chapter 219

The door swung open, and several men charged in to surround Sherry.

“What the hell are you doing?” Sherry shrieked out loud, sensing that something was amiss.

The leader of the group, a young man, smirked and ordered, “Search her.”

“What are you doing? What the hell are you doing?” Sherry screamed in terror. She was slapped twicein the face, and her legs wobbled as she collapsed to the ground.

Her phone was taken away from her, and she was searched thoroughly to make sure that she had noother devires on her.

Sherry looked at the leader shakily. He lonked to be around her age, twenty–something with tattoo–covered arms.novelbin

The men around him were heavily tattoned as well, and their expressions were less than friendly,

“Who are you and what do you want?” Sherry asked, trembling in fear.

The leader smirked. “You don’t need to know that. Listen and do as you’re told, or you’re going to havea hard time.”

Sherry shut up at once, not daring to say another word.

“This is a pretty nice place, isn’t it? No neighbors and secluded enough. 1 guess we won’t even have torelocate,” the leader said and chuckled

Sherry was a streamer, so she rented a place in a more secluded area to avoid getting complaints forbeing noisy. All that effort, only for it to put her in danger.

“That works, Mister Cinq. I’ll get us some drinks to pass the time while we wait for further orders.”

The leader, Mister Cing, nodded. “Go ahead, and remember to get more. I don’t know how long we’llhave to wait.”

Over on Sealake Island

Faye barged into Wilbur’s room all of a sudden.. “Something’s happened to Sherry.”

Wilbur, who was in the middle of meditating, opened his eyes. “What’s the matter?”

“I had someone keep tabs on the girl, and she was discharged today. A group of people barged into herhouse not long after. and they haven’t left since,” Faye said.

Wilbur gave the situation some thought. “Give me her address. I’ll be right there.”

“Okay.”

Faye texted the location to Wilbur at once. Sherry was the key person in this case, and there would bemore trouble for them if something happened to her.

Wilbur turned to leave. “Call Elsa and tell her to bring a team with her.”

“Got it.” Elsa was a police chief, and it would only be legally justifiable if she did this.

Wilber got into his car and drove straight to Sherry’s liouse.

He arrived about half an hour later, parked nearby, and got out of his car.

A man hurried up to Wilbur, greeting him and pointing to one of the houses.

“Thank you for your hard work. You can leave now.” The man nodded at the order, then got into his carand drove off.

Wilbur wallond up to the house and knocked on the door.

“Who’s there?”

“I’m here to check the water meter.”

“Yeah, right. F*ck off.”

The door of the house was kicked open, and Wilbur walked in slowly.

There were several young men in there, red in the face from drinking. They flared up in anger at thesight of the intrusion.

“Get him.”

Cing shouted the order, and several of them charged toward Wilbur at once.

It only took a couple of punches from Wilbur to have them all rolling on the ground, unable to get up.

Sherry screamed at the sight. Cinq drew a dagger and roared, “I’ll f*cking kill you!”

Before he could even move, Wilbur had punched him in the nose.

Cinq keeled over with a thump, falling unconscious at once. Wilbur shook his head “These punks aregetting worse and worse.”
