Chapter 167

Chapter 167

A few meters away, the man was lying in a large pool of blood.

The crowd could not help but let out a sigh of relief. Elsa patted her chest as she asked, “Are youalright?”

“I’m fine.” Ryder put his rifle away, his expression remained as icy as ever.

Elsa started walking towards the man slowly. There was a wound around the size of a fist on the man’swaist, with blood gushing from it steadily

Elsa’s chest lurched at the sight. It seemed the super cannon that was powerful enough to completelycrush a human being had only made a hole in this man. That was how strong a cultivator was.

Regardless, the hole was big enough for Elsa to know the man was either heavily wounded or dead.

Just as she was about to reach him, a hissing saund escaped from the man’s mouth.

Elsa froze, stopping in her tracks as she gestured for her team to back off.

It was important to be as careful as possible when dealing with a cultivator.

Ryder was a little shocked as well. He picked up his rifle again, but he only had one bullet left.

The man’s body began to tremble violently all of a sudden, before growing at an alarming rate. Theman seemed to be growing out of his skin, and it was not long before he turned into a gigantir bloodymonster of flesh and tissue.

The monster’s chest heaved as he straightened up, standing at about two meters tall.

Everyone was shocked at the sight, and a few officers‘ legs even began to wobble. They had neverseen something quite this terrifying.

The monster’s pupils spun, and a feral growl escaped its mouth, “Blood for the Blood God, Skull for theSkill Throne.”

As the monster howled, it lunged at Ryder once again.

This time, the monster was even faster than before. Its energy seemed to have increased as well Apowerful wave of spirit energy emanated from the beast that made everyone else find it hard to move.

Ryder’s expression flashed with determina

He let out a shout, channeling even more spirit energy into the super cannon. A series of symbols lit upon the body of the gun as it was aimed at the monster.

Upon locking his target down, Ryder fired without hesitation.

The last spiral bullet shot out and collided with the monster in the blink of an eye.

The monster had grown stronger after it had evolved, but it seemed to have lost some intellect. It didnot dodge the bullet and took it square in the chest as blood sprayed in the air.

Half of the monster’s chest was blown off, and its body was sent flying through the air almost a hundredmeters backward. The monster landed heavily on the ground, unmoving at last.

The officer let out a sigh of relief. However, in the very next second, the monster leaped up again andglowered at Ryder.

Ryder gripped his rifle as spirit energy emanated off his body In waves.

The monster glanced at the super cannon and let out a growl before turning to run. It leaped toward themountain, disappearing Into the trees.

Ryder flung his super cannon to the side at once, charging after the monster as he shouted, “Keep myrifle safe”

“Don’t go, you won’t be his match if you aren’t armed!” Elsa cried out after him.

Nevertheless, Ryder had run out of the village after the monster and had disappeared from sight aswell.

Elsa stomped on the ground, shouting. “Take these people back, and have the site survey tea comehere.”

“Yes, Chief.” Elsa’s team got to work at once. Elsa shouted into her walkie–talkie, “Ryder Litwing isgoing after the target and headed toward Mount Tapa in Kardon Hills! Please send backup byhelicopter at once!”

“Orders received.”

After reporting, Elsa was still unable to calm down. She ran toward her car, started the engine, anddrove toward Sealakenovelbin

Island.

Elsa sped all the way past the staff members who tried to hold her back, stopping right in front ofWilbur’s room.

Wilbur was currently sipping on a cup of tea as Faron meditated in the living room with his eyes closed.

Elsa charged in, and Wilbur frowned. “Come on, the least you can do is knock. The guy is in a prettykey part of his mediation. You’re going to make him enter a psychotic break.”

“We’re in trouble!” Elsa paid no mind to her actions, getting straight to the point.
