Chapter 163

Chapter 163

“What’s the matter?” Wilbur frowned at the dumbfounded Faron.

A while later, Faron shook his head. “Dude, you’re crazy. This place had to be warth almost a billiondollars. Even I would never receive something like this.”

“Yeah, but that’s because you never had the guts to say yes. I’m pretty sure you’d own this and muchmore if you were just a little bolder, Wilbur said.

Faron chuckled. “Yes, I suppose you’re right. I’d be in jail if I had been bolder”

“You know that better than me.” The two of them walked past the square in the middle of the island, entering the forest at the

back

There were about thirty to forty homestays slightly hidden in the forest, looking, elegant andsophisticated.

Wilbur found the closest one that was empty and went inside.

The house was equipped like a regular homestay, with the basic necessities and some decor.

“Have a seat!” Wilbur gestured for Faron to sit down. He walked around the room first, then sat downnext to Faren.

“Here, have some tea.” Faron had brewed a pot of tea for Wilbur and poured him a cup.

Wilbur took a sip from the exquisite porcelain rup before putting it back on the table. “Why do you likecultivation?”

“Who wouldn’t?” Faron said. “You can call upon the power of nature whenever you want. It’s soamazing

Wilbur chuckled. “Cultivating is a lot harder than you think. You need to consider all the dangers andperils you might encounter before making such a decision.”

“Will my life be at risk? Faron widened his eyes.

“Your body’s constantly being challenged while you cultivate, physically and emotionally. One wrongstep could cause you to lose your mind, or even your life in more perilous conditions. It’s verydangerous.”

“Well, I’d still like to cultivate. I’m sure I’ll be able to live a long life as long as I’m careful.”

“Yes, the lifespan of a cultivator is rather long, but that’s only if you survive. Countless cultivators don’teven make it halfway through, with their stories simply going untold.”

Faron frowned. A long pause later, he said at last, “I’m still going to choose to cultivate. I’ll be honestwith you. Power and status don’t interest me at all ”

“Why not? You’ve got a bright future ahead of you thanks to your father,” Wilbur asked.

Faron smiled. “Yes, but wouldn’t my future be brighter if I were to cultivate and live longer?”novelbin

Wilbur paused. “You’re a pretty greedy guy, aren’t you?”

“Heb,” Faron chuckled, saying nothing,

Wilbur said nothing more after that. He stretched out his hand, and the air above his palm rippled as aMarrow Cleansing Pill appeared on it.

“Take this. I’m going to help you channel energy into your body, and you’ll have finished the first step ofcultivation.”

“It’s that simple?” Faron said, shocked.

that bloodst

Wilbur said, “It might seem that way to you. If you hadn’t had on you… Nevermind. Just take it.”

Faron did not ask much either, taking the pill at once. A wave of spirit energy surged out of Wilbur andenveloped both of them. Under the influence of the pill, Wilbur’s aura was slowly channeled intoFaron’s body and slowly began to work through

Chapter 163

This lasted several hours, with layer upon layer of black grime oozing out of Faron.

Toward the end, a light flashed from Faron’s body before disappearing into him. At last, Wilburdismissed his spirit energy.

Faron spat out a mouthful of grime. His eyes rolled backward and then collapsed onto the sofa.

Wilbur said, “This is just your body struggling to get used to your new system. All you have to do isfollow the energy path I channeled into your body just now and meditate for a few days. You’ll bealright, I’ll keep you company until then”
