Chapter 714 She Passed Away

"What's the matter?" Abigail looked at him with concern as he held his phone, his expressionsolemn. She couldn't help but ask.

Sean stared at the screen of his phone, his face devoid of emotion. "I found something out. I'll askwhat's happening over there. It's nothing."

"Oh." Abigail lowered her gaze and leaned against his abdomen, gently poking his abs with herfinger.

Sean sent a message to Josh. 'How is Luna doing? What happened exactly?'

'Xavien is there. Should I ask him to come and be with you?'

'No, your people can't show up. I'll talk to you later.'

"I won't be angry." Sean pulled her into his arms.

Sean helped Abigail into the car and tried calling Josh, but after several attempts, he couldn't getthrough.

Sean could only call Xavien.

"What exactly happened to Luna?!" Sean couldn't believe that Luna was really gone.

"Luna was declared dead after unsuccessful resuscitation. I went to see her. It was indeed her..."Xavien's voice carried a hint of barely detectable sadness.

Sean took several deep breaths and sat in the car. He gripped the steering wheel, and after a longtime, he asked, "How is Josh?"

He glanced at Abigail, who was still unconscious beside him, and angrily placed his phone on thecar seat.
