Chapter 772

Chapter 772 Who Did I Offend?

Eudora picked up the cup of coffee that Wendy poured for her, and her cold hands could feel its

warmth. She shook her head, smiling wryly. "I don't know."

As she spoke, Derek narrowed his eyes, staring at her face carefully as if to penetrate her thoughts

through her eyes.

However, his gaze didn't shake her, who was so calm that even he couldn't figure out anything wrong.

"Uncle, I am sorry to trouble you," Eudora said.

She pretended to feel aggrieved, slowly lowering her head while sighing helplessly, "I don't know why

things have turned into the present state, and even now, I still can't understand who I offended."

"Eudora, cheer up. Everything will be okay." Wendy patted her back, feeling distressed about what

happened to her.

At this time, there came a rap on the door.

Wendy got up and said, "It must be Chasel. He asked me where you were, and I told him."

She opened the door, as expected to see Chasel.

Chasel was in a navy blue windbreaker and a pair of sunglasses, a noticeable bruise still at the corner

of his mouth.

He walked in, and his eyes falling on Eudora sitting on the sofa showed his worry. Then he walked up

to her, asking urgently, "Are you okay?"

Eudora didn't expect Chasel to come.

She nodded. "I'm fine. But why are you here since you were hurt so badly?"

In the storm of public opinion, Chasel came to visit her regardless of his injuries, which moved her

deeply.

"I'm worried about you."

Sitting beside Eudora, Chasel asked, "What's going on? Why does the news say you hit someone?"novelbin

Eudora shook her head, responding, "The media coverage is not up to me."

Then, they sat together to analyze the current situation and discuss the solution.

Eudora hung her head all the time, looking bummed out.

Wendy perceived that she was out of sorts and said, "You must not have slept yesterday since you

were in the police department. Go to my bedroom to rest for a while, and we can talk about it after."

Eudora nodded, got up, and went to the bedroom.

After closing the door, she lay on the bed, recalling what had happened in the past two days.

Something was wrong.

She took out her mobile phone from her pocket and turned on the recorder, which contained five hours

of recording.

Eudora started recording when she left her apartment in case of any trouble.

Unexpectedly, it came in handy now.

Lying on the bed, she scrolled through Twitter.
