Chapter 759

Chapter 759 Colbert Was Heartless

The crowd didn't listen to Eudora's words but instead rushed forward to beat and kick her.

However, at a critical moment, when Eudora was pushed to the ground, she didn't feel any pain. When

she opened her eyes, she was shocked to find that Chasel had appeared in time and was holding her

tightly in his arms.

The punches and kicks from those people all landed on Chasel. At such a close distance, Eudora could

almost hear Chasel's heavy breaths and felt his trembling when he suffered.

At this moment, Eudora's mind went blank. All her thoughts were focused on Chasel.

Surprised, amazed, touched, and excited, a torrent of emotions overwhelmed her, leaving her feeling

quite unsettled.

Meanwhile, beneath the stage, despite the fact that most of the people had already left, Colbert, Micle,

Derek, Wendy, Jayleen, and several journalists were still there.

Wendy gasped in astonishment, exclaiming, "Oh dear, what is happening?!" Her immediate impulse

was to call out to Derek, but considering the necessity of maintaining an appropriate distance in front of

others, she turned to Colbert instead and pleaded, "Mr. Steele, could you please quickly go help

Eudora?"

Colbert, dressed in a suit, stood below the stage, expressionless as he watched what happened. His

brow furrowed slightly, and there was a hint of sharpness in his profound gaze.

Beside him, Micle called him, "Mr. Steele?"

He was seeking Colbert's opinion.

Nevertheless, Colbert's gaze remained locked on Eudora, who was enveloped in a tight embrace by

Chasel. A deeper shadow crossed his face.

"Mr. Steele, why are you standing there? Please save her!" Wendy pleaded, hopping anxiously.

But Colbert snapped back to reality, glanced at Wendy coldly, then turned around and left directly.

Seeing that Colbert was gone, several journalists, who had been specially invited by the Lane family,

crowded around Colbert, blocking his path.

"Mr. Steele, Meetlove Company is owned by Eudora, was responsible for Mr. Lane's wedding today.

What are your thoughts on this?"

"With such a huge incident happening at the wedding, is the Steele family responsible for it?"

"There are rumors that you and Eudora have a conflict. Is it true?"

"Mr. Steele, what do you think about today's events?"

"Mr. Steele, if someone deliberately sabotaged the wedding, who do you believe is responsible?"

...

Several reporters bombarded Colbert with questions, aiming their microphones into his face.

Being accustomed to this kind of scene, Colbert maintained his usual aloofness, casting a disdainful

gaze at the journalists before him.

He said, "My grandmother took Ms. Stanford as her god-granddaughter, which only shows that she has

a good relationship with Ms. Stanford. But Eudora's words and action has nothing to do with me or the

Steele family."

"So, is it true that you truly despise Eudora?"

"She is Belinda's god-granddaughter and can be considered half a member of the Steele family. Don't

you intend to take responsibility?"

"If it weren't for the Steele family, Mr. Lane wouldn't have come to Ms. Stanford's Meetlove Company."novelbin

"Are you planning to distance yourself from Ms. Stanford?"
