Chapter 750

Chapter 750 Colbert Coughed Up Blood

Colbert furrowed his brows, his handsome face devoid of warmth. His piercing gaze seemed to freeze

the air, sending shivers down anyone's spine who dared meet his eyes.

Jayleen's hurt sank. She was at a loss as to what Eudora could have said to provoke such an intense

and unpredictable outburst of fury from Colbert.

"Fine, don't be angry. I'll leave now."

Jayleen tugged at the hem of her clothes and reluctantly left the hospital room.

When the ward returned to silence, Colbert took a deep breath and looked back, his gaze landing onnovelbin

his phone.

He unlocked his phone, and the screen displayed Eudora and Chasel's intimate moments after making

love.

Even if Eudora just tightly hugged Chasel in the photo, Colbert could imagine their passionate

lovemaking. He knew that only that kind of passion would leave Eudora so exhausted afterward.

There were even faint traces of kisses on her neck and arms.

Everything seemed so real, leaving Colbert with no doubts about the reality of the photo.

Especially, Eudora had admitted it herself.

Colbert felt a tightness in his chest, causing him to delete the message without hesitation.

As the text was deleted, those photos vanished from Colbert's sight.

But he didn't know that the so-called love marks on Eudora's body were merely special strokes made

by a brush.

Colbert placed his phone on the table, and in the next moment, he suddenly felt a tightness in his

chest. With a thud, he spat out blood from his mouth.

Micle, who was standing outside the ward, had been observing everything inside. When he saw Colbert

suddenly spitting blood, he was startled and pushed open the door, rushing into the room. "Mr. Steele,

are you alright?"

Micle supported Colbert with one hand while pressing the bedside call button, shouting loudly outside,

"Get a doctor, quickly!"

Soon, the ward fell into a panic, and Colbert was taken to the emergency room.

After a thorough examination, the doctor said, "The patient spat blood due to excessive anger. You

must ensure that he gets plenty of rest and try to avoid further stimulation."

"Okay, thank you, doctor."

Micle nodded repeatedly.

However, Micle couldn't help but wonder how things went wrong like that.

Micle felt that Eudora might say something to Colbert that made him so furious.

Although Micle was curious about what happened, as an assistant, he would definitely not take any

investigations on what Colbert didn't want him to know.

Colbert stayed in the hospital for three days before being discharged.

The car accident resulted in damage to Colbert's liver and a forehead injury, but thankfully, the other

parts of his body were unharmed.

However, despite the severity of his liver damage, Colbert's stubbornness got the best of him as he

refused to be hospitalized. Determined to maintain his work commitments, he pushed through at the

company while gradually managing his health condition.

Time passed quickly, and in the blink of an eye, another month had gone by, bringing in the new year.

As Eudora sat in her office, browsing the web, she once again saw Alva making headlines.

With an eye-catching title, that report naturally involved Alva appearing at a certain charity foundation

or a disaster relief site, helping impoverished children, or accompanying lonely elderly people in

nursing homes.
