Chapter 748

Chapter 748 Such a Dramatic Misunderstanding Ⅱ

Colbert put away his phone, tried his best to calm down, then raised his eyes and asked, "Did you

return to the Steele Mansion yesterday?"

Eudora nodded. "You talk about that? I called you yesterday and planned to go with you, but you didn't

answer. So I went back by myself."

"How did you go back home?"

"I was drunk, so Chasel sent me back." As she told Colbert what happened yesterday, she didn't

mention Derek.

"Did he go to your house?"

"No. We went to the hotel."

"Hotel? So, you two slept in the hotel overnight?"

"Yes. Did you want me to let him sleep in my place?" Eudora replied without giving an ounce of

thought.

Then she tilted her head to look at the fruits on the table, thinking about the day when Colbert

thoughtfully peeled the fruits for Belinda when Belinda was hospitalized.

So, Eudora took one of the fruits, found a knife in the drawer, and peeled the fruit for Colbert.

Eudora didn't notice Colbert's strangeness but asked while peeling the fruit, "You still haven't explained

how you got into a car accident."

Colbert's face was gloomy. He clutched the phone tightly, and the veins on the back of his hands

bulged.

His sharp eyes stared at Eudora for a moment, and all that lingered in his mind was the madness of

how she was doing in bed with Chasel last night.

Suddenly, Colbert thought of what Chasel had said in the restaurant the day before yesterday; he

couldn't help but feel ironic and ridiculous.

"Just leave. I want to rest a while."

Colbert's expression turned cold. He restrained his anger, putting his phone on the table, and saidnovelbin

coldly.

Eudora shook the apple she was peeling. "I haven't finished peeling yet. I'll leave after you eat it."

Speaking of this, Eudora couldn't help teasing him, saying, "The accident didn't hurt you that seriously,

as you could still speak forcefully."

But Colbert didn't respond.

Seeing that Colbert didn't speak, Eudora didn't bother to talk again but handed the peeled apple to him,

"Here, have an apple."

Colbert's eyebrows were slightly frowned upon. His eyes got cold, and he stared at Eudora, then at the

apple in her hand. "I said, leave me alone."

"Hey, you cruel man. Is that how you treat a woman who cares about you?"

Eudora was annoyed by him. But she thought it was understandable for a patient to be in a bad mood.

So she held her patience and said again, "Don't be too childish. All right, I'll feed you, okay?"

As she spoke, she reached out and handed the apple to Colbert.

She held the apple in her hand. Her manicured nails made her slender fingers even more beautiful.

But it happened to be this hand, Colbert could tell, that was the one hugging Chasel's waist.

Suddenly, a blind rage took hold of him. He slapped off the apple in Eudora's hand and said, "Get out!"
