Chapter 715

Chapter 715 Deceive Guests

Eudora nodded. "We are in Felice Restaurant. I even brought you here to treat you. Look at me. Do I

look like someone who can take you to eat expensive food? Besides, many expensive foods are high in

fat and high protein. Too much of that food is bad for your health. If you die before the thousands of

billions you've earned are spent, it's a waste."

Eudora spoke solemnly and logically. And it sounded like there was nothing wrong with her words.

"Fine."

Colbert supported his head with his elbows on the table and gently rubbed his eyebrows with his index

finger.

If he remembered correctly, the last time she invited him for breakfast was two slices of bread and a

cup of milk.

That breakfast was still fresh in his memory.

"Okay, madam. Please wait a moment." The waiter nodded, picked up the menu, turned, and left.

Eudora ignored Colbert but lowered her head and played with her phone, waiting for the food to be

served.

But three minutes later, the box door was pushed open by the waiter.

Her eyes lit up. "Felice Restaurant's serving speed is pretty fast."

Unexpectedly, just after she finished her sentence, Eudora's smile froze.

She saw the waiter pushing the dining cart, putting two hamburgers in front of them, and then putting

two hand-sized salad dishes and a small bowl of soup on the table.novelbin

"Please enjoy yourself," The waiter said very politely.

"Wait. These were all?"

Eudora knew Felice Restaurant's dishes were very expensive, so she glanced at the menu and

ordered the cheapest.

As for the two salad dishes and soup, if she read correctly, it seemed to be more than four hundred

dollars.

But, in the two plates in front of them...

The small dishes contained only a few slices of lettuce and carrots.

"Yes, madam. The lettuce is of the latest breed and tastes very good. This carrot was sent from another

city, and it's been very well received recently."

With professionalism, the waiter carefully introduced the dishes to Eudora.

Eudora was embarrassed. "Thank you. That's enough."

"Have a good time." The waiter pushed the dining car, turned, and left.

After the waiter left, Eudora's face was instantly gloomy. "Damn, he's gone too far. Was the owner of

Felice Restaurant too poor to deceive guests? The waiter said it well, but it was just a few slices of

lettuce and carrots."

Eudora stirred the soup with a spoon and scooped up a spoonful of it. "I don't see anything special

about this expensive soup."

She slammed down her spoon and pointed to the salad. "These are the worst ones. There's nothing

special about it..."
