Chapter 712 Invite Colbert for Dinner
"You are sensitive, Mr. Robert." Colbert pursed his lips and smiled helplessly.
"I'm fine. You should get some rest." Kevin pointed to the bed next to his and said, "That bed has been
replaced with bedding and quilt cover. You have been busy all night; how can you do without rest?"
Colbert didn't refuse. He nodded and then leaned on the next bed to take a nap.
An hour later, Colbert woke up. Seeing that Eudora was still sleeping, he got up and went downstairs to
buy breakfast and toiletries.
When Colbert returned to the hospital, Ansel and Mildred were already in the ward, and Eudora was
also up.
"Good morning, Mr. Stanford and Mrs. Stanford. I bought breakfast; let's have some together." Colbert
was always considerate, so he took Eudora's parents into consideration when buying breakfast.
"Colbert, how can you do these things?" Mildred frowned and glanced sideways at Eudora. "Colbert is
a guest. How can you let him run back and forth to take care of us?"
Eudora was making the bed. When she heard Mildred's scolding, she curled her lips, turned around,
and glanced at Colbert with sharp eyes. "Did you hear it, Colbert? You are a guest. So don't buy it next
time."
"You damn girl. Colbert is so nice to you, but you are such a conscience."
Kevin also reprimanded Eudora even though he was still lying on the hospital bed.
Eudora was speechless.
She didn't know what she did wrong.
"I can't sleep, so I just went down for a walk and bought these by the way," Colbert explained.
They then had some breakfast together and waited for the doctor to come to examine Kevin. After thenovelbin
examination, the doctor said that Kevin was in a stable situation, and then Eudora felt relieved.
After staying in the hospital for another day, Eudora arranged a nurse for Kevin and then returned to
Kenison City with Colbert.
They still had a lot of things to do in Kenison City. Eudora was more worried about Cory E-sports and
Meetlove Company, so she could only go back early. And she would come to pick Kevin up after he
was discharged from the hospital.
A few hours later, Eudora and Colbert arrived at Meetlove Company in Kenison City.
Eudora knew very well that Colbert had been busy these two days and had helped her a lot. She felt a
little owed, so she said, "I'll treat you to dinner tonight."
"Really? I'm flattered." Colbert smiled, and his eyes were stained with light.
"What are you thinking? If it wasn't for my mother's repeated orders, I wouldn't be bothered to invite
you for dinner," Eudora found an excuse to make the perfunctory.
She got out of the car, closed the car door, and went directly into Meetlove Company.
In the company, Eudora was busy from morning to afternoon, dealing with the work piled up on her
hands.
And then, she transferred thirty thousand dollars to the owner of the auto show.
She was scheduled to go to the open-air auto show yesterday, but Kevin's hospitalization delayed it.
According to the contract, she had to pay double-liquidated damages to them.
This was a matter of principle.
Fortunately, Eudora won some money at the Walden Ski Resort that day. Otherwise, she would feel
heartbroken.
