Chapter 690

Chapter 690 Why Not?

"No need. I can put it on myself."

Eudora was not used to Chasel's gentleness. She sat on the snow carelessly, then buckled up her

knee pads and put on her skis. "All done!"

After getting dressed, she supported herself to stand up with her ski poles. But before she could stand

up straight, she sat on the ground again. "Ouch!"

Eudora exclaimed and was about to fall. But the next second, she fell into a warm embrace, tightly

hugged by Chasel. "Be careful."

His sudden gentleness made Eudora fluster. "It's alright. I think I can stand still."

She pushed Chasel away, supported herself with ski poles, and finally managed to stand still.

Chasel smelled Eudora's fragrance when he hugged her tightly. His heart fluttered as he became

nervous. And when he looked at Eudora, his gaze became a bit desirous.novelbin

But then Eudora broke off from his embrace instantly. Chasel felt upset, and the desire in his gaze was

replaced by a hint of coldness.

"I'll teach you."

Chasel reached out toward her.

Eudora hesitated for a moment but still held his hand, wanting to learn how to ski from Chasel.

"We're ready. See you later!"

At this moment, Derek and Wendy had already geared up. They held their ski poles and slid down the

slope like professionals.

"Come on. I'll help you." Chasel gradually led Eudora forward. But just as she took a step, she fell to

the ground again with a bang.

"Ouch!"

Eudora sat on the ground and saw the tourists beside her smiling secretly, feeling a little embarrassed.

"You don't even know how to ski. Why bother coming?"

Suddenly, Eudora heard a familiar female voice.

She looked back and was surprised to find that the person who spoke was Jayleen.

And the man standing beside her was... Colbert!

The two of them came over with their snow gear and stood in front of her.

There was a mocking smile on Jayleen's face. And when Colbert saw Eudora, the gentle look that he

usually had was all gone. It was replaced by coldness and indifference, just like when they met for the

first time.

It had been two months since she said so many unfeeling words in the hospital.

Even if she visited Belinda at the Steele Mansion, she never saw Colbert again.

"Why not? Are there any rules saying that this place is only for professionals?" Chasel leaned over to

help Eudora up and replied with a gloomy look.

Eudora finally stood up. She probably worried that she would fall again, so she tightly held Chasel's

hand.

Eudora met Colbert's dim eyes when she looked back. Her heart fluttered for no reason, and she even

felt a bit embarrassed.
