Chapter 669

Chapter 669 There Is a Problem With Shoes

Calculating the time, it had been five years since they last saw each other since he left.

His sudden return left Eudora at a loss.

Colbert was in silence.

Eudora was the only woman who dared to be so reckless and full of lies in front of him.

"Knock, knock, knock."

Suddenly, there was a knocking sound outside the ward. Eudora turned her head and saw Wendy and

Ivan walking in from outside.

"Eudora, are you alright?" Wendy walked in and went straight to her, showing concern. "I was so

scared when I saw you unconscious."

Ivan put a bunch of flowers aside. Although she expected Colbert to be there, she still respectfully said,

"Mr. Steele, you are here too."

Colbert nodded slightly, gave her a cold glance, and then turned around and sat on the sofa, creatingnovelbin

space for the two.

When it came to other people, Colbert was always cold and carried an air of arrogance that kept them

at a distance, like an unattainable celestial being.

Ivan watched Colbert walk to the sofa and sit down. Even if it was just a sitting position with his legs

crossed, he could still emit the aura of a king invisibly. His aura was so strong that it was suffocating.

But she had to be admitted that Colbert's stunning looks were excessively handsome.

"Ivan."

Seeing Ivan staring at Colbert infatuatedly, Wendy lightly nudged her with her elbow as a reminder.

Although Ivan was two or three years older than Eudora and Wendy, she also had a girlish heart and

couldn't help but take a few more glances at a handsome man.

She turned back and didn't feel embarrassed about stealing glances but rather couldn't help but say in

a low voice with suppressed laughter, "Mr. Steele, you look much more handsome in person than in

photos."

"Of course."

Wendy nodded and exchanged a glance with Eudora as if to convey the notion that everyone found

Colbert attractive. Only Eudora seemed unaffected by his charm, as if she were oblivious to it.

"I'm fine," Eudora responded helplessly to Ivan's infatuation with Colbert, playing along with Wendy's

words.

Then she thought of something and asked, "Since you came here suddenly, what about that high-

heeled shoe? Is it still there?"

"I examined the shoe as soon as I got it, and there were obvious signs of sabotage. I told Ivan about it.

He has someone investigating it, so don't worry. I believe we'll have news soon."

Wendy was a clever person. When she received the high-heeled shoe from Eudora on the runway, she

subconsciously took a look and discovered that there was something wrong with the shoe.

When Eudora was unconscious and sent to the hospital, Wendy didn't immediately follow. Instead, she

went to find Ivan and asked her to investigate the situation.
