Chapter 643

Chapter 643 An Adaptation Process

"It hurts so much."

Eudora reached up and rubbed her temples. "What's the matter? Do I have a migraine because I didn't

sleep well last night?"

Once a common problem among older women, migraines were now showing up in younger people.

Eudora suffered from occasional migraines.

She had a migraine, especially after every night of staying up.

So, Eudora, without thinking much about it, put the necklace back in the box.

"Well, it's so expensive. I should wear it."

Eudora felt sorry for the necklace worthy of 60 million dollars, so she simply took off the four-leaf clover

pendant that Chasel had given her and put this necklace on her neck.

"Sapphire looks great on you."

Chasel appeared out of nowhere and sat directly beside Eudora.

Seeing Chasel, Eudora immediately closed the necklace box. After all, inside was the necklace that

Chasel had given her. It was somewhat inappropriate to take it off in front of him.

"How... How is your recovery?" Eudora subconsciously looked at his legs and couldn't help feeling

guilty.

Chasel breathed a sigh of relief, stretched out his hand, and patted his leg. "I am fine."

At this time, a bartender passed by. Chasel snapped his fingers at him and hooked his fingers.

The bartender came over. Chasel took two glasses of red wine from the tray and handed one to Eudora

naturally. "I heard that your company is doing good now."

Eudora took the red wine, clinked glasses with him, and took a sip. She then sighed, "It's just so-so.

What about you? How do you feel when you are back at the Burke Corporation now? Did you get used

to it?"

"Well, we all need an adaptation process."

Chasel laughed at himself and then stretched out his hand. "Do you want to dance?"novelbin

"No, I don't know how to dance."

"Since you don't know how to dance, how about going to the terrace on the top floor? Let's drink coffee

and enjoy the night view."

Eudora felt her head dizzy, so she waved her hand to refuse. "No. I've been busy all day, and I want to

go back and rest."

After the last incident, facing Chasel again, Eudora was no longer as calm as before but felt more

pressured.

Her direct refusal made Chasel feel the distance and unfamiliarity between the two of them.

His cold eyes narrowed slightly, and the complex look in his eyes was fleeting.

"I've been dancing for a long time. I'm exhausted."

Wendy, coming out of the dance floor, went straight to Eudora's side and sat down. She lazily lay on

Eudora's shoulder and said hello to Chasel with her head tilted, "Hi, Mr. Burke, nice to meet you. Let

me introduce myself. My name is Wendy Bartlett, and you can call me Wendy."

Chasel had some impressions of Wendy. He had met her before.

"Ms. Bartlett, you seem to have a good relationship with Eudora."

A little surprised, he wondered when the two of them had become so close.
