Seeing that Colbert cared so much about Alva, Eudora felt that it was extremely ironic.
After bypassing the crowd and leaving the restaurant, Eudora went to the hospital to accompany her
parents for a while.

Alva's head was hit and bled. But it wasn't serious. The wound just needed a simple bandage to stop

But to let Colbert spend more time with her, Alva ordered the doctor to arrange a VIP ward for her and
let her be hospitalized for two days for observation.
This hospital belonged to Glenn, so the doctor naturally did as Alva said.
After finishing being put on a drip, Alva took Colbert's hand. Her eyes were red with the grievance.
"Colbert, my parents are away on a business trip, and they won't be back until tomorrow. Can you stay
with me tonight?"
To let Colbert stay with her, Alva lied.
Hearing this, Colbert frowned slightly, and a little impatience flashed in his eyes.
After hesitating for a moment, he finally reluctantly agreed to her request.
In the ward, Alva was playing with her mobile phone, while Colbert was sitting on the sofa and handling
his work on the laptop.
Alva took the initiative to chat with him several times but was refused. Colbert gave an excuse that he
"was busy with work."
Until late at night, seeing Colbert lie down on the added bed, Alva felt aggrieved, but she dared not to
mess with him. So after saying good night to him, she went to sleep.
The lights in the ward were turned off, and the room was quiet.
In the dark, Alva opened her eyes, bit her lips lightly, and thought of something.
After an unknown amount of time, a scream suddenly sounded in the quiet ward. "Ah, don't kill me.
Don't kill me... ah..."
The sudden sound woke Colbert up. He got up and turned on the lights. Then, he saw Alva sitting on
the bed and crying with her head on her knees in shock.
"Boohoo..."
"You had a nightmare?"
Seeing such a beautiful woman who was his fiancée crying, he didn't have any feelings.
He just walked to Alva's side and asked indifferently.
Alva sobbed, and her shoulders trembled. She glanced at Colbert with tears in her eyes and hugged
his waist. "Boohoo... Colbert, I dreamed that someone was chasing me to kill me. Boohoo..."
Although Alva, a beautiful woman, was in his arms, Colbert stayed calm and had a gloomy expression.
The fingertips of his hand hanging by his side moved slightly, and after a long hesitation and struggle,
he raised his hand to pat her on the back. "It's just a nightmare. Forget about it when you wake up."
"That dream was very scary..."
Alva came out of Colbert's arms. With tears in her eyes, she asked, "Colbert, can you sleep with me?"
