Chapter 527

Chapter 527 A Tall Man With Longer Fingers

Then she smiled at Belinda, "Grandma, you look much better. How are you feeling?"

In a hospital gown, Belinda, whose hair was white, was leaning on the bed. She looked energetic. With

a book in front of her, Belinda took off her glasses and smiled kindly. "My Eudora is here. If I didn't ask

you to come over, you wouldn't come to see me."

Belinda pointed at Eudora, pretending to be displeased.

Sitting on the side of the bed, Eudora put down her things and held Belinda's hand. "Grandma, I've

wanted to come and see you for a long time. But I'm afraid you're angry with me and don't want to see

me because of the wedding."

Eudora drooped her head and sighed in frustration, looking pitifully aggrieved.

She continued, "I wanted to come to see you yesterday. But Colbert said you refused to see me, so I

didn't come."

She made use of every opportunity to put Colbert on the spot.

The man in the gray and white striped shirt was peeling the apple gracefully. Holding the fruit knife, he

paused and raised his eyebrows to look at Eudora with a smile.

He was not angry. Instead, he enjoyed the scene where Eudora acted pouty before Belinda.

It seemed that Eudora felt badly treated by him and looked for comfort to make him scolded.

Putting the reading glasses and books on the table, Belinda glared at Colbert. "What's wrong with you?

Why did you stop Eudora from coming to see me?"

Although Belinda had asked Derek to investigate Eudora, she thought it was the right decision since

caution was her belief.

When she fainted at the wedding, Eudora didn't come to the hospital to see her. So, she became

suspicious and investigated Eudora.

"The incident happened suddenly, and everything seemed Eudora was the one to be blamed. How can

I explain it to you without evidence?"

While talking, Colbert put the peeled apples in the crystal dish and cut them into pieces bit by bit.

Although it was a common thing, Colbert did it gracefully.

His slender hands were as beautiful as the perfect handicrafts of God. He should be a hand model.novelbin

Eudora couldn't help but love his hands again when she looked at his hands.

Then she looked down at her own hands in doubt and muttered, "He is tall, so his fingers are long?"
