Chapter 502

Chapter 502 Stars

Eudora leaned against her chair, her legs on the fence beside the observatory. And from this angle, she

could see thousands of stars in the night sky.

"So many stars. So beautiful."

Her restless heart gradually calmed down, and she looked quietly at the stars. "After coming to Kenison

City, I really haven't seen the stars so quietly."

She suddenly raised her hand and pointed to the stars overhead. "Look! The seven brightest ones

joined together are the Big Dipper."

"It's beautiful." Colbert echoed.

He put his arm on the back of the chair, and Eudora leaned back, her head resting right on his arm.

After saying that, Colbert lowered his head to the phone, edited a message, and then put the phone

away.

"Will the stars in the sky be troubled?"novelbin

She sighed, casually asked, but inadvertently revealed that she had much on her mind.

Colbert looked at her. In the darkness, she did not know how gentle his eyes were.

"Every experience is a kind of training. When you get enough, you'll be invulnerable," Colbert paused

and then said, "So, it's not all bad."

"Well, it makes sense."

Eudora nodded but then shook her head and tutted. "No wonder you are a successful businessman.

Your eloquence is indeed good. I think it's a pity that you don't do pyramid selling."

Colbert's face was stiff, and then he shook his head and smiled bitterly.

The two sat on the observatory, chatting occasionally. Eudora's agitation dissipated, and she did not

sleep wearily until half past four in the morning.

Unconsciously, her head was leaning on Colbert's shoulder.

Then several beams of light flashed through the night, and with the noise of footsteps, someone came

up.

When they saw Colbert and saw his gesture, they did not speak. Instead, they stretched out a folding

bed of excellent quality, laid a cushion and pillow, put down the thin quilt, and tiptoed away.

Colbert leaned slightly, picked her up gently, and went to the bed to put her down.

And then he lay down beside her.

Maybe his existence gave Eudora a sense of security, so she fell asleep peacefully.

It was a bit cold on autumn nights.

At half past six in the morning, the sun peeped over the horizon.

Colbert had not slept all night. He looked at the beautiful and delicate scenery and had wanted to

admire the stars and the sunrise with Eudora, but now he could not bear to wake her up when he saw

her sleeping.

He slowly got up, held the mobile phone, turned on the camera, made some adjustments, and got

ready to record the sunrise.

However...

"Colbert, what are you doing? Are you a pervert? Don't tell me you want to record me in my sleep."

As if feeling something, Eudora suddenly opened her eyes and was annoyed to see Colbert face her

with his mobile phone.
