Chapter 490

Chapter 490 It Was Rosetta

Originally, Eudora was suspicious of Rosetta, but Chasel's words greatly appeased her.

It was fine if it had nothing to do with Rosetta.

It meant it was a misunderstanding.

She knew Chasel would not be so despicable.

"Colbert, is it a misunderstanding?" Eudora asked.

She let go of Chasel and walked towards Colbert, hoping that he would spare Chasel and Rosetta and

re-investigate the matter.

Eudora walked towards Colbert step by step, and Colbert looked at Eudora from the beginning to thenovelbin

end. It was not until she approached him that Colbert gestured to Corey who was standing beside him.

Bang! Bang!

"Ah!"

With two bangs, there was a mournful cry piercing the silence.

Rosetta cried hysterically, "Ah, my leg hurts! Help me...

"Chasel, help me..."

"Colbert, what the hell do you want to do? Stop!" Chasel shouted.

He rushed towards Rosetta and said, "Rosetta, are you okay? Are you hurt?"

The sudden action made Eudora stunned for a moment. She turned around abruptly, but before she

saw Rosetta's miserable appearance, Colbert grabbed her wrist and pulled her into his arms. He

wrapped his left hand around the back of her head, covering her eyes from the side. He said, "Don't

look."

His voice was gentle, like the spring breeze.

Eudora was not moved by his actions but struggled furiously. "Colbert, let me go! You bastard. How

could you shoot Rosetta?"

"Ms. Stanford, please read this."

While Chasel was talking with Rosetta, Corey, who was standing beside Chasel, handed a document to

Eudora.

Colbert let go of Eudora and withdrew his hand, and his eyes suddenly lit up.

Eudora turned her head and glanced in Rosetta's direction, but several bodyguards stood beside her,

so Eudora couldn't see anything.

She read the document in her hand. As she frowned, her hand holding the paper gradually squeezed

harder, deforming the paper.

There was a photo on the document, and the person in the photo appeared at the scene where Alva

was violated.

The person's ID card, background information, and bank transfer record were there.

The person who transferred the money was Rosetta.

Suddenly, a sense of loss welled up in Eudora's heart, which deeply stabbed her heart, and the pain

swept through her whole body, making her extremely uncomfortable.

She didn't continue to read. Instead, she slowly closed her eyes and handed the document to Corey.

Corey accidentally discovered this matter when he accepted Colbert's order to investigate Alva. He

continued the investigation and easily found the instigator behind it was Rosetta.

Even though Rosetta had sent someone to kill the people involved, Corey had got important evidence.

However, Rosetta still thought that her crimes could be concealed after everyone died.
