Chapter 454 Deduct Money?
Colbert nodded slightly. "Yes."
"Mr. Steele, please follow me up. Ms. Standford is working upstairs."
An employee made a 'please' gesture and led Colbert to the office on the second floor.
She pushed the office door open, and the two walked in, only to find that Eudora had fallen asleep lying
on the table.
The staff was about to wake Eudora up, but Colbert raised his hand in front of his lips and made a
'shush' gesture. The gesture was handsome and unrestrained, and there was a bit of seductive charm.
The female employee was completely smitten after just one glance, and her little face blushed
involuntarily.
Colbert hooked his fingers toward the female employee, and the two turned around and walked out of
the office. He asked, "Has she always been busy recently?"
"Yes, Ms. Stanford hasn't had a good rest for several nights because of the wedding."
"Alright, you can go do your stuff."
"Okay, Mr. Steele. Would you like coffee or tea?" the employee asked.
"Neither; go back to work."
The man waved to signal the staff to leave while he walked into the office and closed the door gently.
He then sat on the sofa, quietly looking at the sleeping woman.
Alva had already had slight insomnia before this. Now that she had not rested well for several daysnovelbin
because of the wedding arrangements, it was conceivable that she naturally had very little sleep.
Thinking of this, Colbert could not help but feel a little guilty. He felt that she would not have had so
much pressure if he had not left an amateur like Alva to be in charge of the wedding planning.
He sat there for a while. It was almost one o'clock, yet Alva did not look like she was going to wake up
any time soon.
Colbert walked out of the office and told all the overtime employees to get off work, while he stayed in
the office. He took off his coat and covered it on Eudora.
It was this action that woke Eudora up.
"Hmm... Why did I fall asleep? What time is it? I checked the wedding scene... Fuck!"
Eudora closed her eyes and muttered a few words. When she opened her eyes, Colbert's magnified
face appeared right in front of her eyes. She was so startled that she instantly woke up completely.
"Co-Colbert, why are you here?"
The weak-hearted Eudora gave a flattering smile.
"You have started a company; shouldn't I come to visit?"
Colbert put one hand on the table and put the other on Eudora's shoulder and smiled meaningfully.
The meaning in his words was apparent.
Eudora's heart skipped a beat.
