Chapter 442

Chapter 442 Does He Like You?

Colbert stepped forward. "Hello, Mr. Stanford, and hello, Mr. Robert."

His attitude was very respectful, a humility Eudora had never seen before.

"Mr. Stanford, here are the cakes and flowers that Eudora bought for you." He handed the things to

Ansel.

"That's sweet, but we already have one. Why buy another one?"

Ansel looked at Eudora and sighed.

"Dad, he bought this." Eudora was very grateful to Colbert for being able to come back today, so

naturally, she couldn't pretend it was her favor.

"Okay, okay. Let's all go in and sit down. What are you doing standing at the door."

Mildred stepped forward and led them into the house.

There were many dishes on the table of the main room, with a combination of meat and vegetables and

balanced nutrition. There was also a bottle of whiskey on the table.

"Mr. Stanford, I'm going out to get something."

Colbert turned around and walked out.

After he walked out of the yard, Kevin tapped the cigarette stick in his hand and glared at Eudora. "He

likes you?"

"What a mess, Master. What are you thinking? He already has a fiancée." She waved her hand, feeling

Kevin was a little out of order.

"Okay, that's good."

Kevin nodded with a serious expression.

"Why is that good?" She couldn't help asking like she was in a fog.

"Nothing. I feel this young man is somebody, and you can't reach him."

"Yes. Kevin is right."novelbin

Ansel agreed.

Eudora was speechless. "What's on your mind?" She shook her head and said, "Dad, today is your

birthday, and it happens to be his birthday, too, so he just stopped by to celebrate it with you."

After speaking, she felt this reason was a bit absurd, so she said again, "This is what his grandmother

meant. That is, my god-grandmother ordered him to come."

"I'm ok with that."

Ansel nodded and became calm again.

After a while, Colbert returned with an extra box of whiskey, moved it in, and put it in the corner.

"Oh, this, this... this is so expensive."

Although Mildred didn't drink much, she also knew that this brand of whiskey was very expensive.

Colbert immediately said, "Someone gave it to my family, and we couldn't finish it, so I brought it here."

He took a bottle of whiskey from the box, put it on the table, and smiled warmly, "I'm sorry for keeping

Mr. Stanford, Mrs. Stanford, and Mr. Robert waiting for a long time."

They knew nothing about alcohol, but Eudora had worked as a security guard at Philomel Club for so

long, so she naturally knew how expensive the whiskey was.

This was the whiskey for the national banquet, a top-notch state banquet.

Its market price could only be imagined.

"Mom, they have a lot of wine, which is not expensive. Let's eat quickly, or the dishes will be cold."

She didn't want to put too much psychological burden on her adoptive parents, so she prevaricated.

Then the dinner began.

They were all home-cooked dishes. Colbert, who was used to delicacies from top chefs, found the taste

particularly good, like a mother's cuisine.

They were talking and laughing, drinking and chatting, and the atmosphere was very harmonious.
