Chapter 390
Chapter 390 The Hidden Woman
Colbert drank too much at night until he almost became unconscious.
For some reason, when he figured out his feelings for Eudora, he became even more depressed.
Colbert felt more upset than that day when he heard Eudora admit that she liked Chasel.
Colbert kept drinking until dawn before he finally lay down. Colton was slightly drunk and looked at
Jervis, who was still sober. Then, he shrugged and said, "Well, well. I guess Colbert is really serious
about her."
Jervis looked at Colbert indifferently as the latter fell asleep on the sofa. He knew Colbert had indeed
fallen in love, but he didn't say anything.
Colton took out his mobile phone and called Corey. "Corey, send me the phone number of Madam
Steele's god-granddaughter."
Colton actually asked for Eudora's phone number early in the morning, which made Corey verynovelbin
surprised. "Mr. Gale, why do you want Ms. Stanford's phone number?"
"Just cut the nonsense and send it to me!"
"Alright. Please wait a minute."
Corey hung up the phone and hastily sent Eudora's phone number to Colton.
But meanwhile, Colton and Jervis supported Colbert to the elevator and sent him back to his apartment
on the top floor of Philomel Club.
Ding!
The elevator went straight to the top floor and stopped.
The two supported Colbert, opened the door with a card, and entered his apartment. They helped
Colbert back to his bedroom and let him lie on the bed before leaving.
However, Colton caught a glimpse of the bottle of Romanee-Conti on the table, the one that was made
in 1945.
Late last night, after Corey drove Colbert's car back to the underground garage, he delivered the
expensive wine in the car to Colbert's apartment.
Colbert learned to play games with Eudora yesterday, and so he put the wine on the table after Corey
delivered it.
"Wow, Jervis, look! This must be the bottle of wine that someone bought from Sotheby's auction as a
gift for Colbert!"
Colton had seen a lot of good stuff. When he saw that bottle of red wine, he recognized it immediately
and couldn't help but want to have a taste.
But suddenly, the guest bedroom door was opened. Eudora, who was neatly dressed, stood at the door
in her slippers. She glanced at the two people in the living room and was startled.
Then she asked angrily, "Who are you?"
Surprised by Eudora's sudden appearance, Colton was so frightened that he almost dropped that bottle
of wine.
It seemed that Colbert had indeed kept a woman in his apartment!
Colton thought Eudora was already Colbert's lover, so he didn't understand why Colbert was still so
frustrated and even got drunk.
Jervis sized Eudora up and remained silent as usual.
On the contrary, Colton put down the wine and glanced at Eudora flirtatiously. He teased, "Wow. What
a beauty!"
