Chapter 387

Chapter 387 Fleeing

Eudora, who was sleeping soundly, felt someone covering her mouth and let out an annoyed groan.

Colbert immediately let go of her.

But he found her dumb look very cute.

"Do you like her?"

Suddenly, a question popped up in Colbert's mind.

His smile froze as he stared at the woman in front of him in a daze.

"Like her?

How could it be?"

Colbert cared about nothing but his career. How could he fall in love with a country girl?

Thinking of this, the smile on his face completely disappeared.

Then, Colbert got up and left the bedroom in a hurry as if he was fleeing.

He rushed to the living room and sent a message to his group chat: [Let's hit the bar. Same old place.]

Then, Colbert went downstairs to private room No. 8888 in the clubhouse.

Twenty minutes later, two people came in. They were Colton Gale and Jervis Hunt.

Jervis was the only heir of the Hunt family, but he loved to uphold justice. Despite his family's

obstruction, he was admitted to the Public Security University and was now the captain of the police

station.

And Colton was the youngest and most unruly doctor in Kenison City.

His handsome but flirtatious appearance always made people believe he was wicked and

unscrupulous, but he was a medical genius with extraordinary talents.

However, he had given up being a doctor and started a business.

"Colbert, why did you suddenly want to hit the bar?"

Colton put his arm around Jervis' neck and walked toward Colbert with a smirk. "I haven't seen you for

a long time. I thought you had already forgotten about us since you now have a lovely woman by yournovelbin

side."

Jervis was relatively reticent. He asked flatly, "Do you have something on your mind?"

"Jervis, stop it. Colbert now has someone to accompany him every day. How could he have something

on his mind?" Colton patted Jervis' shoulder and teased, "Do you think everyone is as stubborn and

unromantic as you?"

Then, they sat on both sides and let Colbert stay in the middle.

Colbert picked up his wine and took a sip. "Where's Trevor?"

"He's busy with something else. He can't come." Colton explained and also picked up his glass. They

clinked glasses and drank their wine in one gulp.

After that, Colton put down his glass, got up, and played a song. He lowered the volume so that the

music wouldn't affect their conversation.

But when Colton picked up the microphone and was about to sing along to the music, he suddenly

heard Colbert ask Jervis, "What does it feel like when you fall in love with someone?"

"Holy shit! What did you just say?"

Colton was about to sing when he heard Colbert's question. He was so shocked that he even dropped

the microphone.

Colton around and rushed to Colbert's side to sit down. "Colbert, say it again. What the hell? What

does it feel like when you fall in love with someone? Damn it! You are not in love with Alva, are you?"

"Ms. Baldwin is both talented and beautiful. Very few men could resist her charm," Jervis said.

Colbert clenched his glass and took a sip again. "You didn't answer my question."
