Chapter 374

Chapter 374 3.9 Million Worth of Wine

Eudora closed the door and took a bottle of red wine from the wine cabinet, her face revealing a secret

joy. "I got it secretly from Colbert, who had said it had some age."

It was back in Philomel Apartment when she saw this bottle of vintage wine on Colbert's wine shelf.

Then she quietly put it in her bedroom, intending to drink it.

She didn't expect they would have an argument, and she took it away when she left the club.

She shook the wine bottle in her hand. "Let's drink it."

A long time ago, her master always took her to drink, and resultantly she developed a high tolerance

for alcohol.

But Eudora didn't notice that she drank too much in recent months due to various pressures.

Chasel took the red wine from her hand, looked at it carefully, and said with a smile, "I'm afraid we can't

drink this wine."

"Ah, why? Isn't it just some vintage red wine? I'm a heavyweight."

"It is not fake, but this bottle of Conti was produced in 1945 and auctioned at Sotheby's in 2018 for anovelbin

staggering price of 3.9 million. I guess someone gave it to Colbert later."

Hearing this, Eudora, who was astounded, clicked her tongue. "How much? 3.9 million dollars? How

could a bottle of red wine be so expensive?"

She knew some vintage wine would be expensive but never expected it to be so expensive.

"This bottle of wine was produced in 1945. It could be sold at such a high price because it was made

from the last part of the grapes of the Conti vineyard after World War II. There are only 600 bottles.

With a historical value attached, its price goes up."

Chasel guessed that Eudora must not know the background of this bottle of red wine, so he told her

about it.

He happened to be there when it was auctioned at Sotheby's in New York in 2018.

"It's fucking expensive!"

Eudora couldn't help but swear.

She quickly reached out and snatched the red wine from Chasel's hand. "Drunk people can't drink this

red wine born in 1945! We better not try it."

She gingerly held the wine in her arms and couldn't help but carefully observe it curiously, and muttered

in a low voice, "How can it be so expensive? No wonder the bottle looks so old. It's okay, no worries.

We can put it somewhere, and its value will probably be appreciated in two years."

But that was not the point.

Eudora suddenly realized that her stealing Colbert's sky-high-priced red wine would perhaps make him

call the police.
